    Allatoona is my home lake as well. I fish the tuesday night tournament weekly.

    Its Hard to get tired of the Lanier. I can't wait for the summer swimbait and topwater bite! Thats when the spots show their true colors.

    Lake Hartwell is a great fishery! best population of Blueback herring in the southeast.

    Use Shakey Head brand jig heads and get over the thought that Gamakatsu hooks have bad barbs. They don't. I fish 5 days a week during the summer with a shakey head and I haven't had a single problem with Gamakatsu hooks. If you don't like them, then open a blacksmithing shop and make your own hooks.

    One time i was tarpon fishing in the Boca Grand pass, and a tarpon **** out a cat on the deck of my boat.

    You don't need a fishfinder on a kayak. You maybe need a GPS for your Prius though.
