  5. also get some stuff called sea foam, put about 1/6th of the bottle in the gas. this will help to clear any varnish that may be present
  6. appreciate every minute of it, i dont have the time or energy anymore to do all nighters. i usually only get out about 6-10 hrs a week

  13. i actually got a pair of disposible medical scissors from the dollar store that work very well. i also have a rapala clippers that will work as well
  14. i havent been getting any strikes is part of the problem, ive spent alot on lures of different colors and, and tried fast, slow, sporadic retrieve, stop and go, twitching, anything i can think of. i watch youtube to see how others are doing it and mimic them as close as i can and i read everyday on here. i even changed my lines to see if it would help. nada. i must have 20 different plastics. from big bite to senkos , and alot of havoc stuff in different colors. the last fish i caught was on a black fluke during the spawn

  16. ok i read another thread on patterns but i really dont understand the patterns? what is it? how do i find out the patterns? i know morning and night try top water and on overcast days. cold or midday try deeper but other than that what am i missing? what do you mean pattern? doesnt the fish just swim or sit close to a spot then move on at some point?i still really feel like i dont understand how to fish.
  17. springfield and ruger make awesome 1911. I had an sti thats in my top 5 i seriously regret selling. Kimber seems almost hit or miss anymore. i never use to here a single bad word about them, but as of the last few years they are popping up from time to time. Also the beaver tail, most companys have gotten away from them in favor of the more comfortable/ longer style tail. but you can still buy them its just hard to find
  18. does anyone know where i can get those rubber bands that hold skirts on spinner and buzz baits? i need like 2 of them but no one sells just them.

  21. i tried right handed first but like you i started out reeling left handed on spin caster and spinning reel. It just felt awkward to me so i bought a left handed reel and ive been happy ever since. i still dont understand why people will change hands after casting
