  1. Well 60° water is pretty far away for us in south GA, but it seems like the cooler the water gets the better the lipless bite gets! The water temperature dropped a little from the weather so I figured I'd try lipless this morning
  2. Well to my left it was alittle more clear, the grass was about a foot below the surface with some little matted patches, I was just throwing it over and around the weeds and ripping it out when it got clogged up. You can see the type of weeds I was fishing underwater in the bottom left
  3. Nice fish!
  4. Happy birthday! Like Dwight said, you have the dream wife! That's a nice tackle bag
  5. Braid is more sensitive in general but has zero sensitivity on a completely slack line, however on a semi-slack line it still has some feel.
  6. I like the strike king swim jig with a fat Albert trailer! Don't know what my favorite is...
  7. Yes it was, I'm just saying that in this thread and the thread I made a lot of people were saying things like "go to a private pond" and stuff like that.
  8. I mean don't get me wrong id love to catch a big bass out of any body of water, but it would mean a lot more to me if I could catch it out of my everyday lake I fish....
  9. Get extra hooks and split ring and fish braid, when you get snagged just bend the hooks out and replace them...
  10. Because a 15lb bass is an old bass. At least that's what I assume, Ive seen in a few places that bass put on about a pound a year on average with a good food supply...
  11. Well fall isn't too far away and the lipless cranks are about to be back in their prime, doesn't mean they aren't working yet though! Caught a good bit of bass on the H2O lipless cranks today! Had a buddy following our boat too!
  12. *2, sometimes a color change will work for short strikes
  13. Wow, it says they can kick like a .22 bullet! That's incredible haha
  14. It really doesn't bother me a whole lot that the bass died, she was probably on her last legs anyways...
  15. Didn't zoom sue ouzo baits for something awhile back? Are they even in business still?
  16. Choosing the Right Hook for Your Soft Plastics:
  17. Would you like to try out my Shimano Antares?
  18. If its withing reach flipping can work on the bank but your options will be limited. If its out of flipping range I'd just throw a pretty weedless topwater lure, itll be easier because its hard to fish vertical from the bank.
  19. I'm gonna disagree with this, its okay to go out of the rods ratings within reason. I go a little over the ratings all the time...
  20. I dont remember the type but it was spiderwire brand, wasn't the stealth though because I've never tried that one.It wasn't the first few feet getting frayed ethier, its the entire line. I still have it spooled on a spinning reel and it seems to get wore out just coming through the guides and light grass. And my guides arent fraying it. EDIT: Jesus, there were so many typos in that post, I fixed em'
  21. It just falls apart, it frays horribly from normal use and breaks very easily.
  22. Yes, my confidence in them will take a plunge if they lose...
  23. There is a little bit of everything on bassresource...
  24. Its all about the steelers guys... Wait till Sunday, you'll see haha
