  1. San Diego Jam, Its the knot I use with fluorocarbon line...
  2. Is it the mojo spinning rod? If so how do you like it, I just ordered one.
  3. That's great, hope the next surgeries go even better!
  4. Hope everything goes well and your on the road to a speedy recovery!
  5. Niceee, I'd like to eat some one day, are they anything special or do they just taste like bass??
  6. Lol we've had a few days in the 30's here! Its goin' be a cooold winter lol
  7. Been using rage craws the most but I'll also throw on a zoom grub or a rage menace when they want something with a little less action, I love a zoom grub on those white shad SK swim jigs! I throw 3/8oz a lot, black and blue, candy craw, and white are colors I've been using lately...
  8. I have been using a cheap Abu blue max combo I'm borrowing from someone that has 20lb braid and its a M/F.... Its been alright. I ordered a 6' 9" ML/XF St.Croix Mojo spinning rod and a 6930X Pflueger President reel, got some 8lb fluoro I'm gonna try to fish straight on it but if I don't like it I'm gonna go back to a braid + leader setup... Can't wait until I can use this setup!
  9. Hopefully the rod I ordered on black Friday will be pretty versatile when it comes to lighter stuff... I ordered a ML/XF St. Croix Mojo spinning rod!
  10. A MH/F and a M/F casting setup...
  11. Squarebill crankbait because squarebill crankbaits.
  12. Nice jigs, I ordered all my stuff in one cart on black Friday but tackle warehouse sent me two seperate tracking numbers and one says it'll arrive Thursday and the other says Friday... I guess they are sending my stuff at different times...
  13. Bass will definitely hit reaction baits during the winter, like a spinnerbait or lipless crank running right by their face.
  14. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/springflats1.html This is a pretty good read
  15. Went out this weekend and did well with lipless crankbaits and swim jigs!
  16. Worm - Zoom Trick Worm Creature Bait - Rage Craw Jerk Bait - Live target Glass Minnow Spinner Bait - Booyah Vibra-Flex Crankbait - KVD 1.5/2.5, Xcalibur, H2O... Etc... Lipless Crank - Red Eye Shad, BPS XTS, H2O, Rat-L trap.... Etc... Popper - Spro Bronzeye Popping Frog Walker - Original Zara Spook Sorry I broke the rules... too many good crankbaits to choose one!
  17. I do it all the time when fishing for bowfin and sometimes I find myself in situations where the bass are in pretty "muddy" water... The bass may hold a lot closer to cover than they would when the water is more clear.
  18. Welp, I guess I won't be buying them then... The whole reason I wanted them is because the TW website says it runs 3-7 feet. I would love a squarebill crank I could present in that 2-3 foot range that is giganormous...
  19. The flux capacitor is probably on to tight...
  20. Hmmm, to me that seems a little far fetched... I would hope it would run 5 feet or less on 20lb line.
  21. Yeah power pro original and super slick are both good! Super slick is a lot easier to pull wind knots apart with but it loses its color faster it seems like (doesn't bother me). Personally I like original power pro when it comes to the thicker test like 50lb just because its a little stiffer and I like it better in thick cover.
  22. Only you can decided if you met your goals, but to me it sounds like a good year!
  23. Very very cool! Huge fish...
  24. Why not??? You could always tie a leader on if that gives you more confidence but you still want the manageability of braid...
  25. Yup, my papa broke his MH/F so I bought him a ethos MH/F and he loves it for swim jigs...
