  1. What is this madness....
  2. Sorry, I wasn't being sarcastic, jigs can come through some pretty nasty stuff but you will lose a couple here and there....
  3. Try using a heavy jig or Carolina rig to feel whats on the bottom. Just drag it along feeling all the ticks and bumps, you'll get used to what each different type of cover feels like.
  4. Whuuut? I couldn't imagine casting my reels without my thumb....
  5. You'll be surprised just how weedless a jig is....
  6. I'm surprised some of you guys don't use L&L... Maybe y'all can deal with the line Turning into a phone cord and curling up all the time haha
  7. Never tried grilling salmon, I like most other fish grilled so I'll give it a shot!
  8. If you fish near the banks a lot I'd get some more shallow square bill crankbaits. They are killer in shallow cover.
  9. No it doesn't effect them... I've caught plenty of healthy bass with plastic inside them. Its not okay to leave a hook in a fish if you can get it out btw
  10. I'm just gonna try EWG's for now then try the other ones, thanks
  11. I know many people who fish a Texas rig but do not comprend slowing down. A lot of people don't like moving a bait a few inches then waiting a period of time just to move it a few more inches all the way to the boat. For me, if its catching fish I don't mind fishing slow. And if you wanna win tournaments you have to fish slow sometimes.
  12. Thanks guys, I'll try it out next time I get a chance to! What size hooks do you like for them? They have a hollow body so it seems like you wouldn't need a big hook, am I correct?
  13. I've only used tubes a couple times and it was in rivers only, I was just wondering if you can Texas rig these, it seems like with them being hollow bodied it wouldn't work right.
  14. I've always just put a little lemon pepper on em and thrown them in the oven, how do you guys cook em?
  15. Because some people prefer fishing fast and moving from place to place catching fish along the way and covering lots more water. But sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and slow down.
  16. I've tried flouro in thick grass and I like it because you can feel very light strikes but I don't like that it seems harder to reel and cut through the grass....
  17. Bruised banana Zoom trick worm on a 2/0 worm hook or a 1/0 Ewg hook
  18. If you in more open water try a stop and go, if your in an area with lots of hard cover try to bang and bump them off the cover to get strikes.
  19. Yup that's sums it up, dark or bright ethier works just pick your favorite color and go fishin'
  20. Square bill crankbaits Texas rigged plastics ~Insert here~ ~insert here~ haha
  21. Have a good ole fashion fish fry! Or maybe a few fish frys lol
  22. From what I've experienced it seems like low pressure is better than high pressure when it comes to bass fishing... I've read it in a couple places to so maybe there is something to it. I guess that why it seems like the bass will turn on when a storm is approaching but the bite will slow back down after its all passed
  23. Can some more people back this up?? I would like to know it works before I go chopping up my lures lol
  24. Yeah there isn't any point in taking bass out of legal limits... I've seen people come out of the lake I fish on an easy bite with like 15 2-4lb bass... Like why do you need that much fish haha I'll keep at the most 5 and thats too many honestly for one person.
