  1. Soooo where do I put in an order hahahaha Those look great man
  2. Most of the bass I'm catching now are coming out of hydrilla and solid grass, all I do is salt and pepper it and fry em. They don't taste like weeds? Idk where y'all get that from. Maybe yalls taste buds are just different from mine
  3. Well I just figured out my aerator isn't even working so I took it out, guess I gotta grab another before the tournament. Fishing a tournament without an aerator would be dumb wouldn't it?
  4. Crankbaits and electronics are like peanut butter and jelly, but I was just saying crankbaits can produce if you can find the fish and you don't always need electronics to do that.
  5. I'm fishing my first summer tournament this weekend and I'm excited, anybody got some tips for me? How do you guys manage a live well during the summer? I've never had a tourney fish die but I've also never had a summer tourney....
  6. I'd have to disagree with "cranks being a electronics game" there are plenty of ways to find fish without electronics
  7. My friend has one he uses for lipless cranks and square bill cranks, i picked it up and threw it awhile and it felt alright but I didn't hook anything.
  8. Idk the rod just didn't do it for me.... I'd much rather have a lightning rod or cherrywood
  9. No, a general rule of thumb is that for the first 1/3 of your retreive your lure will be going down to the max depth your line allows it, the next third it is at the max depth, and the last third it is coming back up from that depth.
  10. I've had the most success fishing green pumpkin with the claws dipped in chart JJ's in a low visibility lake!
  11. Glad its working out for you! My friend bought one and he says he likes it, hope you catch plenty more with it man
  12. That's good grass for a spinnerbait imo
  13. I go fishing near a lighthouse in Tallahassee FL a few times a year and its seems like I always catch like 10 of those! They don't get very big compared to salt water fish but being a freshwater fishermen I enjoy hooking up with them.
  14. It was probably a skunkape
  15. The rods gonna have more to do with casting distance than the reel IMO anyways
  16. I posted this back In may, give it a read http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/137537-shaky-head-brands/?fromsearch=1
  17. The 25$ berkly cherrywood HD rod is another good budget option
  18. Don't save them for clearer water if that's not where the fish are! The first lucky craft square bill I bought which was like 10 or 15 dollars I lost to a pickerel on like the first five cast.....
  19. That's a great time period to have grown up in.... Now I just need a hot tub time machine
  20. The black max reel is alright but the vengeance rod is mehhhh...
  21. Ahh okay thanks for clearing that up, I dunno where I got 20lbs from
  22. I throw green pumpkin more than black in the lake I fish and its visibilty is 1-3 feet depending on conditions, I also like lots of bright baits over darks, but I do still throw black N blue craws after storms and stuff
  23. The world record is 20 something pounds I thought? Maybe were not thinking of the same "lady fish" I'm thinking of the one that craps everywhere when landed
  24. The fishing will be slower after the storm than before 9 times outta 10 from my experience but its far from un-fishable, youll still have a good chance of hooking up
