  1. Yeah I'd grab the line to... I won't grab a line if I'm within reach of the fish but it may be your only option... I would just be scared to snap my rod reeling up a 4lb+ bass
  2. I've caught a lot more bass in pads than mill foil but that's because I fish pads alot more...
  3. I'm ethier wearing sperrys or vibram five fingers when I fish haha
  4. Hahaha, you don't have to fish a drop shot straight under the boat.
  5. Hmmm, I wonder if this is a sign that my fish don't have enough to eat...
  6. Hahahaha ^^ I don't know why I Rofl'ed at this
  7. Those last two are hawgs man! Nice fish
  8. I used spider wire once and I didn't think it was terrible... It was actually pretty alright, still like power pro more.
  9. Great picture and fish! Congrats to him, that looks like a pretty fishing spot!
  10. My number one tip is to have confidence.
  11. Just shy of 3 lbs
  12. KVD 1.5 chartreuse black back will always have its place in the local lake I fish....
  13. Yeah I thought the first was a largemouth but thinking smallie after looking at the jaw more... But I could count the smallies I've caught on one hand haha
  14. Well maybe they were trapped in the trap and then decided to eat it or maybe they swam into the trap with the intent to eat the meat and it wasn't an accident, hmm I've never heard of catching bass on chicken liver... I guess if it'll eat something like that then I'm sure a baby bass would too.
  15. I was thinking first LMB and second is a SMB too Edit: Nevermimd they their both smallies
  16. I had a crawfish trap set out in my pond and pulled it up today and the bream meat I had in there was just bones now and there was only 5 or so bass that were maybe and inch or two long. Will baby bass eat dead fish like a scavenger? Im thinking they just happen to swim into the trap...
  17. Brother... I said I wouldn't fish there, let me repeat that, I wouldn't fish there. I can do whatever I want if I don't want to fish the dock I don't have to? If you want to go ahead? But if a guy comes out and calmly asks you to stop fishing the dock and move along and you don't listen and continue to fish then that's on you. If someone politely asks me to do something I'll do it even if I don't have too. Sometimes its just good manners, they may have had someone damage their dock so they are being more safe than sorry and asking all fishermen to stop fishing their dock.
  18. Why didn't you give him a ride.....
  19. Yes, if you set the hook to hard on a crankbait it may not make you lose the fish immediately but it will make it a lot easier for the fish to throw the hooks. This is because you make the hooks rip alittle to big of a hole and the hook can just slide right out
  20. I finally sat down and watched this and just wow... Incredible footage. When the video ended and it still had 15 minutes left I got so depressed...
  21. I use the Palomar now that I quit using the improved clinch
  22. I let someone borrow our jonboat one time and they left a box of worms in the back I didn't know about and I had to go out of town for while so it sat back there for who knows how long, then when I got back I loaded the boat up to go on a regular fishing trip. I launched the boat and was on my way but 5 minutes in I smelled THE WORST smell I have ever smelled in my life and I looked back there and the worms had dissolved into some BRIGHT green goo and it was so bad that instincts made me pick the container out and throw it into the lake... That's the only time I've littered there and I wish I wouldn't have done that.
  23. This is mainly with crankbaits, if you hero hook set with a squarebill after a fish strikes while burning it your gonna rip his lips off literally lol
  24. I use 50lb power pro without a leader...
  25. There are plenty of articles on bass resource about this, shouldn't be to hard to find some...
