  1. I'm pretty sure there are crayfish in every state, just some places more than others
  2. One complaint about the mobile version is that you can't tell where a quote ends and the persons actual post starts. Kinda annoying
  3. Go try some and which ever one you think is most comfortable use lol... Its is pure preference
  4. That's exactly how I feel... Its kinda like the "I'm not touching you" thing when we were kids haha
  5. I only fish normal frogs by walking them honestly, any other time I'm fishing a popping frog. Just give it some pops and let it sit, mix it up, you'll figure out what works
  6. http://www.***.com/Koppers_Live_Target_Frog_Popper/descpage-KPFRGPO.html Your talking about these right? I've used them and they are great when they don't get clogged with grass but you can't fish them in matted grass and pads like you can a spro popper frog...
  7. Down here winter is actually pretty fun to fish IMO, I find it "tough" but not as hard as summer to me, But up north winter fishing consist of a short pole, a chair, and a ice hole hahaha
  8. I've always preferred a hat with a neck flap over a buff but I honestly don't wear ethier as often as I should....
  9. Well down here in the south fall is fantastic! And no thank you, I'll happily stay here in Georiga lol I've always wanted to go up north during the winter but I don't think I could live there happily...
  10. Slash his tires... Well, nevermind that's a little over the top
  11. I prefer braid for my topwaters, I use 20-30lb mostly but when fishing frog poppers or something like that I'll go to 50-60lb Just beware that on bait casting gear 20lb braid can dig in a good bit causing difficulty in casting when using lures that require a bit of force setting the hook or require drag being set high.
  12. Exactly... Finding bass is the challenge, catching them is the reward!
  13. Everybody loves a senko! Well except for me They catch fish no doubt but when your fishing them it feels like well, that's just it, you can't feel them haha I prefer baits you can feel alittle while fishing them...
  14. I've had a blast this summer and had a lot of great fishing days but man the summer can be brutal haha, I had to grind it out for 3hrs before I got my first 2 strikes (didn't hook them) today. The summer is great and fun but I'm ready for fall...
  15. What kind of popper?
  16. Live target Boze Booyah Mann's Lunker hunt Molix Megabass H20 Xpress Those are some frog brands I've used off the top of my head, I would say my top three would probably be livetarget, spro, and booyah in no particular order...
  17. Its mostly hands on training....
  18. Its definitely not a copperhead after comparing pictures like bluebasser posted, I'd have yo put my money on brown water snake.
  19. Ah that would make sense, and yes I agree frog fishing is nothing but fun!
  20. I'm assuming your flipping into cover and not just flipping into open water of the edge of the boat lol I use 50lb power pro super slick braid, but suffix 832 or normal power pro are other great choices Leaders aren't very important flipping because its really a reaction strike, the fish isn't gonna have time to get spooked by your braid.
  21. Trick worms, rage craws, square bills, some sort of top waters, beaver style lures, paddle tail worms... That's some I'll try to always have on me but everyone's different
  22. I've caught probably 30 bass now on the popper one alone and it seems to be holding up fine so far, but who knows only time will tell if it will fall apart, I don't know if its designed to do this or what but a good % of the bass I caught have been hooked after the hook has spun around and is backwards on the frog. It seems that when it spins around like that the hooks will get a hold of the fish much better... You can see what I'm talking about in the first picture.
  23. Well some say its a copperhead and some are saying brown water snake... I'll look into it, thanks guys
  24. WeIl I guess I saved the best for last guys, l have used hollow body frogs a lot and have thrown many brands but I've always heard about the all mighty spro bronzeye frog never really bothered with buying them... Well I decided to go buy some, I bought a normal sized one, a junior, and the popper style one. They were all solid black except the popper because it was black with yellow lines on it. The first thing you notice is that they walk super easy, by far the easiest frog to walk I have used, and the popper just has such a perfect action. I will definitely be purchasing more of these bad boys and I'm going to recommend them to anyone who ask! I went out to a pond as the sun went down tonight and killed them on the popper style one!
