  1. It would be a looong post if someone gave you answers for all of those questions! I would reccomend reading previous post and a lot of articles on this website using the search feature and once you've narrowed down the question(s) ask again!
  2. Oh snap, I completely forgot about the rage bug when I said I fished them all! Still need to get a few packs of those to try!
  3. Way to go man! I think I'm due for a 5+ bass
  4. I like the cherrywood, good rod for the money... I haven't used the mettle so I can't give input on that but trust me you wouldn't be disappointed if you spent the 60$ for the shimano zeles!
  5. Yeah I was about to say that, the only time I've seen it done Sirsnookalots way is when people are using suckers for muskie. Pretty cool!
  6. Well you told her how to do it, now she just has to get used to actually doing it....
  7. If I'm fishing the stinger its not around thick cover anyways, I prefer it over a normal trailer hook anywhere I can get away with it... Just my preference
  8. Yeah I've tried all of them I think.... The Elieminator is great on a Caroline rig and the space monkey is a great Texas rig/swimbait hook lure!
  9. Yup! If you haven't already tried it, try fishing the rage craw as a buzzbait-like topwater.... Works great in those places you can't quite get a buzz bait through!
  10. Dumb might not be the ideal word, and I'm talking about the extremes, like a 20minute small mouth fight. I love a good largemouth on light tackle!
  11. Just goes to show how far safety technology has came and how much safer the sport is now...
  12. *2 for the sharpie, I use aqua green superslick power pro and the dark color of the normal power pro...
  13. Haha I just like to use stingers on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits... Occasionally a frog but not often I just hate having to order terminal tackle and none of the shops around here have stinger hooks so I'm just gonna start buying good trebles and tying them like this.
  14. Hmm, Idk, I think I fixed it...
  15. I throw wake baits and squarebills on a medium fast action rod. I'm talking square bill looking wakebaits with trebles.
  16. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=611936 Idk if you bought a rod yet but this is a fantastic beginner combo! its on sale on gander for 60$ SIXTY DOLLARS! that's how much I bought mine for awhile back and let me tell you that is a STEAL. the rod and reel are both well worth 60$ here's a link to a quick review I did on the zeles. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/142170-my-review-on-the-shimano-zeles-baitcasting-combo/
  17. *2, if it feels different than normal its probably a fish...
  18. http://www.walleyekid.com/stinger_hooks_ I'm about to start doing this instead of buying stinger hooks over and over for my buzzbaits... I dunno why I didn't think of this earlier haha
  19. buzzbaits and hollow body frogs are the only two top waters I have a lot of confidence in during the day...
  20. Hey James, Welcome to the forums!
  21. Sorry if it came out wrong but I wasn't calling you a liar, I'm just saying that it shouldn't take you 20 minutes to reel in a bass... I just think its dumb If your purposely catching smallmouth on a setup that takes you 20 minutes to land. Just my opinion. And smallmouth are indeed great fighters... I've only caught a handful but the 2lb one I caught made me think I had a big ole' largemouth
  22. Hmm I wonder if he wanted the cooler or the snacks....
  23. I prefer a 7.3 tatula for the stuff you mentioned, mostly preference though, a 6.3 would work fine...
  24. Its Casino for sure haha Love everything about that movie, seen it a hundred times lol
