  1. I'm so torn it's making me sick.
  2. I'm looking to get a new rod with this sale and although it isn't discounted, I feel like it is a good rod for 78.00 Anybody have any other suggestions on a spinning rod under 100? If so, let me know!
  3. Well, it's a higher quality rod and I need one of those. I'm currently throwing worms and stuff on my 6'6 MF Shimano Sojourn(spinning)
  4. It is, it comes to 84.00 BUT they only have it in M & MH and I already have an Abu Garcia Vengeance MH. I could get a M and dedicate it to purely worms. Hmmm
  5. Imagine you only have a fixed amount of money to spend, let's say...150.00. How would you spend that on TW during their Labor Day sale? Also, how would you order IF you were still trying to 'build' your arsenal. Lastly, I'm debating on buying a Duckett ghost spinning rod but i'm not 100% sure. I want to spend under 100$ on a new spinning rod. Any suggestions?!
  6. That retriever is a beaut! lol
  7. I couldn't believe it! No hogs but I was still beyond excited.
  8. Yesterday, I stopped in at Susquehanna Bait & Tackle in Columbia and picked up some tackle(the monkey struck). The guy asked me if I've been fishing it and I never have yet although everybody on here raves about it. Well, threw it on my 6'6 with 15# braid to a 10# mono leader and caught 4 in my first 5 casts. Nothing spectacular but let me tell you, it felt good to catch done fish again especially since it's back into the low 90's. Also, has anybody tried the Innovative Reactions "Little Dipper" swimbait? He recommended them as well and although I had no luck yet, they have some real good action.
  9. So, if I were to get the Lucky Craft Sammy--which size would you most recommend?
  10. Oh wow. That changes everything, I appreciate that man!
  11. While trying to decide what lures I should buy, I come across a common frustration. What do the numbers mean on most of these lures? for example; lucky craft sammy 115 and lucky craft sammy 110? if i'm correct, it has to do with how deep it goes or something with speed at which it sinks or just size? I'm not actually 100% sure. any help would be great along with some suggestions as to what size is a safe bet to get.
  12. Current Fishing Line I Own 10# Sufix Mono 12# Seaguar INVIZX Fluoro 12# Strenn Mono 15# PowerPro MossGreen Braid 30# Hi-Vis PowerPro Yellow Braid Current Rods I Own 6'6 MF Shimano Sojourn 6'6 M Berkley Lighting Rod: Shock Series 6'6 MH Abu Garcia Vengeance Now, I've been fishing primarily in small creeks & rivers with current and rocky bottom. Given that situation, can you guys recommend a good set-up with this? As of now, I've been going straight mono on my MF doing topwaters and senkos. I've been throwing swimbaits, buzzbaits, shakeyheads with 30# braid with a 12# fluoro. I've been throwing carolina rigs & texas rigs on my M with 15# braid with 12# fluoro. What would you guys suggest given the moving water as far as line to rod?
  13. So I asked my buddy if he had any baitcasting setups that he doesn't use much anymore and he lent me a 7'6 Medium Light Ugly Stik with an Abu Garcia 5500C Ambassadeur reel. It says the line can be 6-17#. I'm just trying to figure out what would be best to fish with this set-up and what line I should spool up with. Any help would be perfect you guys!
  14. Thanks everybody! Much appreciated. I didn't think many tied directly to the bait. I never did but I was just wondering if I was missing out! haha
  15. MY RODS 6'6 MF with 10# Sufix Elite Monofilament 6'6 M with 15# Moss Green Spectra PowerPro Braid to a 12# Seaguar Fluorocarbon 6'6 MH with 30# Hi-Vis Yellow PowerPro Braid to a 12# Seaguar Fluorocarbon So, I was on my way home from a big lake today and stopped by this smaller lake. How would you guys fish this/lakes with similar type stuff on the top? Also, if I see this on a large body of water; is it a good idea to fish it? There was no defined bottom, it was all hydrilla/milfoil. Still having trouble telling the difference!
  16. So when y'all tie to certain baits that have the split ring, do y'all tie directly to the lure or to the ring? Sorry if this is a dumb question/been asked 100 times but I'm just curious.
  17. I'm using 20# PowerPro braid and ill be fishing in a river with a rocky bottom. Now, should I go Braid--Weight/Bead--Swivel--Flouro LeaderLeader or Braid to Fluoro Leader--Weight/Bead--Swivel--Fluoro Leader. I'm just trying to figure out what's best here. Ya'll let me know! Thanks guys! Also, I was told to order those 6th Sense Peg Stoppers or whatever for this rig; where do I put that on at?
  18. I sent you a PM!
  19. That's my biggest fear. I always feel paranoid looking into the woods waiting to be mauled lol
  20. What kind of jig in specific?
  21. So I'm going to BPS to grab some quick things tonorrow FOR this. I'll grab some jigs for this.
  22. Its the 4.8" Keitech. I still haven't decided on what weight to use. Is it better to use a rage rig style hook with the weight or a jig?
  23. So, I recently purchased these puppies and boy do they have some of the best action from any swimbait I've ever used. Now, would a MF be good enough with 10# mono? If not, what about a MH with 30# braid to 12# flouro? Just trying to max out the potential here!
  24. You guys are lucky. I havent caught anything on these yet.
  25. So let's say, based on these few scenarios, as a bank fishermen. 1. Its very sunny and about 88. There's a slight breeze and it's about 130 pm. You're fishing with a rocky bottom and the water is clear. 2. Its an overcast sky and about 90. No breeze at all and it's about 3pm. You're fishing with into moderate vegetation below the surface 3. It's sunny but pretty windy, 15mph winds and it's about 90. Its about 3pm and the water is clear. What do you throw in these situation from beginning to end?!
