So, which do you think is the best day of giveaways on Tackle Warehouse?

When I stopped in at Susquehanna Fishing Tackle, the guy told me about 'em because I was looking to pick up a second pack. I'll give 'em a call tomorrow to double check.

I'd rather not start with $80 for my first casting rod haha. I'm a little nervous, to be honest.

What would you recommend for the ratio?

Possibly! They were small swimbaits, like...the size of a Mister Twister. The old formula used to let people catch as many fish as you could before you got snagged and lost it. Apparently people are paying top dollar to get a hold of those. I have a picture of exactly what I'm talking about at home...but, I'm in class and can't get to them right now lol

Any suggestion on a type of rod for this within the 100.00(with or without discount)

I was in at a tackleshop in my area recently and was looking at some stuff by Keitech. The guy working told me that a few of their products had changed their formula which is a lot less durable now. He then went on to tell me that the old formula-based products(if you purchased them) were being sold for like, $40-50 a pack because they were so durable. Has anybody seen/heard about this?

I currently own, 6'6 MF Spinning Rod(Shimano Sojourn) 6'6 MH Spinning Rod(Abu Garcia Vengeance) 6'9 ML Spinning Rod(Abu Garcia Vendetta) Based on what I own currently, what do you recommend I purchase next? I've been trying to use top waters and light wenko's with my MF, heavier jigs and bigger crankbaits on the MH and ned rigs and light texas rigs on the ML. I don't want to spend a lot of money so any suggestions would be great. I'm looking to spend between 80-100 with the 20% off. Also, I'll need to pick up a reel as well. These are the ones I currently have. Quantum Optix-40 || 5:3:1 Quantum Optix-30 || 5:2:1 Cardinal353i || 5:1:1 Any help would be absolutely amazing. Thanks everybody.

What colors would you guys say are essential?! More so for the winter months.

So, I've never fished in the late fall/winter before really. I'm usually a spring/summer/fall fisherman. Now, what do ya'll deem to be essential during this time of year? It's in the upper 40's/lower 50's here in Central PA. Any recommendation would be perfect! EDIT: I feel like a moron, I should have specified. I meant lures and things that you say should be in your box.

So in relation to the dam, where were you? I went there over the summer and couldn't find a good spot to set-up at.

Just put on some 15# PowerPro with 6# Sufix. I'm excited to see what I can do with this! What else can I throw other than weightless/wacky senkos and the ned rig with this rod?

Okay, perfect. Are you recommending a braid to the 6# mono?

After receiving my latest purchase, a Spinning 6'9 Abu Garcia Veritas 2.0 Medium Light/Fast, I have a dilemma as far line. I'm assuming I should only be throwing weightless senkos, ned rig and wacky rigged worms with this? I can throw lures from 1/8-1/2 with line of 6-10#'s. I have 6# mono, 10# mono, 12# fluoro, 15# braid & 30# braid. Any help?!

Hey guys, I didn't mean to offend anyone!! I was just wondering if this happened to anyone and what not.

They told me that UPS left a truckload of orders behind at the facility and the package won't arrive by tomorrow night like guaranteed. They haven't updated any tracking in almost 16 hours. The TW rep said that they haven'T heard much from them regarding the issue but many people have called bc their orders are delayed bc of the mess up at UPS

Apparently they left an entire truck load of orders at the facility. Many people called in to ask about it.

Was anybody's order left at the facility within the past few days? It updated on my tracking last night at 1036 and said it was and I haven't heard ANYTHING since. Should I be concerned?

See, that is a good idea to be honest. I'm looking at an Abu Garcia Veritas, 6'9 Med. Lt/Fast. Anybody else have this? I was also thinking about a Duckett Ghost, but i'm not 100%
