  8. Thanks for the response man! I been reading and people are saying that the bucktail jigs are really good for peacocks. I will be going to walmart tomorrow to see what I could find. The live bait is out of the picture for me I like to use fake lure to catch my fish. What color do you suggest me to get for the kvd?
  9. Hey can you take a picture of the jig you are using. I've never used one before and I am trying to catch peacock bass. I have a lake near by that is filled with them and they never hit my lures.
  10. Hey everyone I am very happy that I found this fishing forum! I have a question to ask you avid fishermens. I started going to a park called Wolf lake park here in Davie FL and there is a lot of peacock bass. Now I can't seem to hook one no matter what I use! I went to bass pro yesterday and I bought some rapala x-rap lure. One of the associates that works for bass pro suggested those lures for peacocks. I went super excited back to the park hoping I was going to finally catch some of those badboys and I had no luck. The peacocks would just swim by the lure and some were even scared. The water conditions are pretty clear you could actually see the fish swimming but they dont hit the lure. Can you guys share the secret on how to hook one of these badboys. Thanks, the depth of the water really depends on what area of the park you're in but ill say 3-5 shallow and 10-15 in other parts. I was so frustrated yesterday after not catching a peacock that a finally gave in and put a worm and i caught this beauty. My target fish is the peacock not bass.
