  1. Props to Megabass.
  2. Those are the new STORMR UV gloves. They come in two different models- One with an open vented palm and the other with a more durable material on the palm and index finger. Check them out! They are cool, fit well, and don't move around and slide down during the day.
  3. Late post but I have a few Fitzgerald Rods. 2 Stunners and the Bryan Thrift Signature Chatterbait rod. I love all of them. You'd do yourself a disservice to not at least check them out. The build quality is VERY high on these rods
  4. You "finally" got some rods and reels? Didnt you just make a post 2 weeks or so ago about having 14 NRXs? The fish are prespawn on Lake Fork?
  5. Keitechs for me. MAJOR bonus points for me to a bait that comes in a clamshell package. It gets so old pulling a bag of Skinny Dippers out where 3/4 of the baits have kinked tails...
  6. Another vote for the Megabass Orochi XX Jerkbait Special. There's just something about that rod. Loads very well, is just right for imparting subtle action to a bait, and keeps fish on.
  7. I live 3 blocks from the ocean and 10 minutes from one of the largest seafood ports on the East Coast. That, coupled with the fact that I only harvest fish i plan on eating means that Largemouth all go back where they came form...
  8. Metanium, not a question for me. Nothing against the conquest at all.
  9. My first cast this year was with a Blade Bait. My first fish this year was on a flick shake worm. A jig has taken more fish this year than any other bait.
  10. I spent 3 days throwing a 10" one in February. It's an awesome bait that's easy to fish and holds up well. We did a lot of skipping and the bait held up very well. I caught my Personal best freshwater striper on it another guy on the trip caught 2 9lbers in the same day... I've also fished the 6" model quite a bit here at home and have caught some really nice fish on it.
  11. I do the exact same thing. I've been collecting them in a big bag to melt down into stickbaits
  12. Just yesterday I was throwing a dropshot around in a pond and got a bite, set the hook, and, and missed the fish. Put a Roboworm back on and made the same cast and instantly got bit. When I landed the fish i looked down into its mouth and saw a few brown circular objects that looked kind of like snails. As I'm looking, this fish begins to regurgitate 2 Senkos AND the Roboworm that he just bit off the cast before. Glad to see he was able to get these out of his system and wish I would have got it on video.
  13. Hate to break it to you, but you pay that increase or more on most of what you ever buy... Side note- The thing that I think people don't take into consideration when it comes to cost of production of a product vs the retail price is just how much more goes into it than "Make this for X, sell it for Y, profit Z"
  14. Would the same apply to purchasing a pair of $30 pants off of the clearance rack and then attempting to exchange them for a pair of $50 pants on the "New Spring arrivals" Rack?
