  1. Never ever caught a fish on the Kvd 1.5... Probably not using the right color...
  2. The rod with Metanium HG
  3. F4-68X7 Cyclone Advantage I will post pic later.
  4. Shipment finally came in
  5. Fluoro and braid have different advantages. Braid is easy to manage because of lack of memory, plus you can get much stronger line with same width as other lines. Fluorocarbon is more invisible than braid by far and it sinks. What application are you using the combo for?
  6. Anyone in this forum have experience with KTF honey comb vs Avail?
  7. Well, I have no idea when my Cyclone advantage is going to get here to be paired with the my metanium so at least you can look at it
  8. Sweet combo . Which model is your rod, Super Elseil?

I know someone will post a picture of the balsa series from megabass sooner or later...
  11. 6-8 pounds fluorocarbon is the usual choice but I like mine to be at 4
  12. Its not a problem with you reeling. Because XCS are silent crankbaits, the way it propels through the air isn't very stable so it gets tangled up a bit. Pretty much all of the silent un-weighted hardbaits have that problem.
  13. x2. Don't get it...
  14. I like the Jackall Askas. I don't know if it works that much better than other squarebills, but that's what I caught the most fish on
  15. The real question is, If you buy the FJ would you regret not spending the bit more extra for the CI4+? If you know you won't get the FJ.
  16. Its a great bait all year round like everyone has been saying because it mimics a injured/dying bait fish, which bass are attracted to. You just have to worry about the water clarity since the fish has to see the bait for them to hit it.
  17. two vision onetens...
  18. Go with the 10 if you are fishing clear area with relatively little structures with a bit of depth (maybe 6 ft - 8 ft). Go with the 12 otherwise imo.
  19. Completely agree. This should not be happening at all. Something is really wrong with the reel.
  20. 1 size drop shot gamakatsu hook behind the shad dot and putting a nail sinker in the head.
  21. Looking at jdm daiwas is a slipperly slope for your bank account indeed...
  22. The reason people like 5.4 ratio when throwing cranks is the torque you are getting from having larger gear. It will feel a bit smoother but its not particularly useful for anything other than slow rolling swimbaits/spinnerbaits and crankbaits.
  23. The rod you purchased is very light so I would pair a light reel to balance it. I would either get the Curado I or TD Fuego if you can find it in your budget. Best of luck and tight lines!
  24. I have no regrets purchasing mine as well. Everything about it is just so nice and smooth.
  25. If you really want something nice, you can get sunline defiers.
