  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ra6niU8f4#t=122 Just don't hold it like this...
  2. Out of all the rods you have listed, Orochi XX is going to have the best time handling the most diverse weight range. It does cost 325, so if you don't mind spending additional 25 dollars, I would go with that.
  3. Can you fit as many people in a Rolls Royce as Ford Fiestas worth of Rolls Royce? I don't think so! xD I would wait for the new Zillion at 300 dollars which is quite nice. Weight isn't much of a factor as much as how well it balances with the rod.
  4. My first high end round reel came in yesterday! Paired up with F6-72X4.
  5. Definitely not what I would do to transport my rods
  6. The width is different depending on which brand it is, but you don't need a shallow for something that thick.
  7. Japanese lines are standardized in terms of pound to width, where US lines are mostly not.
  8. If you want current model low profile, then Chronarch Ci4+. If you want something that's a bit beefier, then new Daiwa Zillion that's coming out bit later this year. If you are willing to hunt for it, then Metanium 13.
  9. What about Metanium and Antares xD
  10. You can use it, if you don't mind casting conventional reel.
  11. It was just a joke
  12. Now lets see how well it catches fish! xD
  13. I know you weren't, but not Mr iabass8 xD. Even if you buy them at the MSRP, I find this reel extremely hard to beat. Only thing I don't like about it is the length of the handle and the knob.
  14. If you are so skeptical
  15. I got one for 245 shipped brand new with crumpled manual. Really enjoying it so far throwing 1/4 oz to 3/8 oz cranks with 10 pound Toray Super Hard Strong. I haven't upgraded to Kattobi Air but will do soon!
  16. The logical argument that made me purchase a right handed reel after only using left handed ones is that you can control your cast better, if you are using your right hand to cast. The weight distribution on the left handed baitcasters gives each right hand casts a lot more momentum; this might won't be a problem if you have strong wrist, but I don't so it helps.
  17. You do know that Husky Hussuzy from Imakatsu is a wooden bait costing 60 ish dollars right? And Raul is pretty avid lure collector.
  18. I don't have a BFS set up right now, but I am planning to get Major Crafts. They are relatively inexpensive(150-170 ish) and comes with nice two piece travel package on a lot if not all of their models. thehooligan fishes a lot of finesse so its best to ask him. Edit: Here is the model I have been looking for: Major Craft VKC 69XUL
  19. You are going to have a great set up . I would upgrade the bearing to specialized finesse from hedgehog studio or office zpi, and maybe get a rod capable of handling ultra light stuffs. Its always fun to pull hogs on ultra light lines.
  20. There is a very nice Alphas Finesse Custom on the market on this site right now. I would get that and maybe Major Craft or Quon.
  21. It means how rod flexes when you are casting to give optimal power to send it flying.
  22. You can catch bass perfectly fine with their 20 dollar Walmart combo, but we choose to play the game!
  23. Double alberto for me.
  24. I don't have any BP reels, but I know that some have internal centrifugal breaking system in it. Have you opened it up and to take a look at it?
