  1. Micro jigs, neko rigs, really small hard baits... so yup anything small that you want to cast on the baitcaster.
  2. Beautiful set ups John!
  3. They are making Alphas SV soon, really excited to get my hands on those once they come out!
  4. They have a T3 Air, which is their top of the line bait finesse reel right now. PX-R is getting discontinued so its going on clearance . It's still an amazing reel on one of the most beloved platform of all time, so I think its worth getting.
  5. I just use some old messenger style bag, that I don't care about getting it dirty.
  6. Do you have Ci4s or Ci4+? Ci4s don't have the x ship system that Ci4+ and the FH has which accounts for the lack in smoothness.
  7. I just hate how braid coloring can rub off on the spool, it takes forever to get it off with Q-tips.
  8. Treat it well, and you should be fine. I wouldn't put braid on it though xD.
  9. Alphas SV that should be coming out within reasonable time.
  10. I wouldn't use it to throw a 8 inch huddleston deluxe.
  11. I might be the only one who thinks that LIN 10 25th Anniversary is the least appealing of all LIN series.
  12. Its just preference. I like to cover a lot of water, so Metanium HG is perfectly fine for me to use on cranks.
  13. Rods: Megabass, G.Loomis Reels: Shimano, Daiwa
  14. I fish mostly from shore as well, and I usually use one rod for plastics, jigs, crankbaits, topwaters, and swimbaits under 3 and 1/4 ozs .

    Japantackle

They are good, usually takes 5 business days for them to get the product to you.
  16. Couldn't you fetched a pretty penny for Arowana that size? I remember they were quite expensive to buy in Japan when I lived there.
  17. Conquest 2014 300 once it comes out, and maybe honeycomb spool + bling for metanium.
  18. Biggest misconception out there by far... To the OP, use what you feel comfortable with.
  19. EVA, since its not that much worse than cork if you have top quality ones, and it doesn't look like crap after couple of trips.
  20. Based on experiences, well built freshwater things will do fine in blackish water, as long as you make sure to give them a rinse after every use to avoid salt deposits.
  21. I was in the same predicament a month ago, and I would have picked Aetos simply because it can handle larger weight range. Then I realized I don't like using spinning reels, so I got neither .
  22. *golf clap
  23. I am not even going to bother posting any scientific facts on how the disease spreads/can spread. Nigeria and Senegal who also had Ebola outbreak fully contained them, and both countries are free of Ebola. Uganda successfully contained Marburg virus (same family as Ebola and equally deadly) without it barely being mentioned on the news. The health system in those three countries did excellent job preventing an outbreak; do you think that US healthcare is worse than theirs? How the US mass media tries to terrorize the listeners to increase their ratings is disgusting.
  24. You aren't making any friends if you include polemics in every single post you made so far, especially when its pedestrian ones. People have multiple set ups, because they enjoy using different brands/models, not to have them rigged up on something all of the time on a boat. To answer the OP; I have 3 set ups but I usually only use one for several trips, based on what kind of fishing I feel like partaking.
