  1. What took you so long?
  2. If you have others, just make it a shelf queen, or fish it gently.
  3. Bought a CR722 IMX for 70 dollars on clearance. Don't need it but couldn't resist
  4. You should allocate your money based on what gives you the most "utility". Having really nice fishing stuffs gives me a lot of "utility"
  5. I am going to buy the 6.8 gear ratio 101 and pretty much use it for everything. Perfect IPT for my general fishing.
  6. The new Conquest also has the S3D spool system, to further reduce the vibration of the spool, making it ridiculously smooth. You will not be disappointed buying the new Conquest.
  7. I know their action, I was just messing with yah :-D.
  8. That is way too much of a reel for just pitching jigs... I would pick another reel unless you want to be throwing some big swimbaits...
  9. I can get better distance on my SS SV with the break set to 0, using only thumb (my thumbing is pretty subpar imo), so that kind of turned me off. I read that SS SV has stronger breaking than Steez(can't confirm), so maybe I will like the Steez SV more.
  10. Interesting. I have a SS SV, and I don't like the SV spool since it feels too tame for me. Maybe I will try an Steez SV to make for sure.
  11. That's not fun :C
  12. Now let's see those babies on water!
  13. Only time I ever had to do it is taking off the SVS system for my Conquest, since you can't put it back together unless the tension is loosened all of the way. I still don't think it is necessarily for most of the reels though.
  14. The one crafted from branch of an ancient oak tree, in middle of land filled with unicorns. It is said to make every single worm it throws turn into the most ideal worm that a bass can behold.
  15. 3/4 of my rods are EVA foam, and I enjoy them very much. It's a bit less comfortable than cork, but it doesn't look like crap after couple of months (yes I clean them with Mr. Clean) .
  16. Stella, Exist, or Vanquish. Plus new Aldebaran, and maybe a Steez if I can get over how blunt it looks...
  17. Thanks! I wish they made a 5 inch paddle tail though :/ Do they ship to the states?
  18. Hi Bassresource, I was wondering if there is any brand in US that sells this type of swimbait ( http://www.10ftu.com/product/lure/hb_babu2/gazou/IMG_3659.jpg). I want something that has the shape of the swimbait similar to the keitech, that is less than 3/4 oz, and is pre rigged in that fashion. I now about the MB Magdrafts, and Fish Arrow Vivid Cruise, but is there another brand? Thanks,
  19. It weighs in at 190 grams or 6.7 ozs.
  20. Yes they are worth it.
  21. You are probably right about the lower cost. They are probably going to set up tolls at some of the major entrances to the canal, and have park rangers patrol the area to fine anyone who doesn't have a pass. Sets up the infrastructure for even more tolls! I am sure they couldn't get the money from any other sources! those poor people reaping the overhead costs, might have to get a BMW instead of a Mercedes otherwise.
  22. Absolutely ridiculous.
  23. Did not know that Fish Arrow did a collaboration work with Yuki Ito. It is beautiful!
  24. I agree. Majority of fishing I do is from shore, and the buoyant nylon line helps me avoid snags quite a bit more than fluorocarbon. You can always invest in high quality nylon or copoly line that can last you almost the entire season, and not lose out too much on sensitivity.
