crankbait lover

hello:Does anyone fish rivers,creeks,small streams,while wading?.I have no boat,so i am relegated to wading or fishing from the banks,so I would like to hear from guys who mainly wade waters to fish.looking for any tips,hints,hot spot's to fish in my area.I live in ohio,Shelby county area,so anyone in this area has any suggestions,please let me know.

hello all: Just joined this site.I am from Shelby county,ohio(Sidney ohio) .I live near ft.laramie lake , grand lake st,mary's,indian lake area region.Also kiser lake etc.I mainly fish the great Miami river,stillwater river.etc. for I don't have a boat to fish from.I would like to hear from guy's who also wade or fish from banks in my area to bounce off information from and to see what other guys do when they are limited to wading and bank fising.Please feel free to contact me here and let's share information ok.ty so much

I appreciate your replys ty... but when you say you can cast quite a distance just exactly what is quite a distance? I have marked off 30 40 50 yards exactly in my backyard so I know I am getting 30 yards per cast but what is a good casting distance I cant gauge my yardage agains't an unknown factor

am using a 1/2 oz crankbait ,, couple different makes,, am casting in backyard have marked off exactly 30 40 50 yards and can only achieve 30 yards on my casts..curado I reel,, 7 foot med-heavyrod,,,, 10 lb line I feel I should be getting more then 30 yards average cast

I am wondering just what is an average casting distance with a baitcasting rod n reel would be.i have the new curado I reel and an using a 7' med heavy rod 10 lb line and am getting a measley 30 yards average casting distance,is this any good I want to get say 45-50 yards average,so if you guy's can give me some pointers on rod's etc to get more distance on my casts,i would surely appreciate it.

I was wondering just how far you guy's can cast square bill crankbaits in yardage terms? I don't see much mention of yardage lengths,( so just how far would an average cast be in yardage 30-35-40-45-50 or how long).Also what rods in power n stiffness do you use to get the maximum yardage.If you guys can give me some info on what rods you use to get the best distances I would appreciate it. Any n all info is appreciated on this matter.ty so much
