What do we do to create cover and habitat for bass, is this a good way to win more tournaments, don't know If this would help, and or how do you locate the fish to better chances.

I'm from kirbyville, and want to do so much better, I feel like a failure for I know my way around Sam rayburn, just can't find groups of fish for the boys and what to use, I'm not a site fisherman, don't know what or how to do it really need a mentor, to show me how to be a better fisherman

Ok I will contact bass federation and find out what we can do to create a bass club! Unless y'all want to do something different, and we can vote of how we want to run the club. We can also create officers, and so forth. We will have to decide of how we create tournaments and so forth, please provide input. On what y'all want to do.

Hello Everyone, I just found this Site and am really enjoying the forum, I have not read it as of yet but have got a map and ready to start from the beginning and try to learn this lake and be able to break it down. Me and my sons are wanting to become better fishermen, and without haveing a mentor to show us things and how to become better I am going to rely a lot on I can learn from you all. I wish I could find a bass club that fishes both sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend for I cant find one near Kirbyville. My son is fishing the High school Tournament and right now they are in 77th place and really need to make a showing in order to move up. so any advice would be helpfull. Teach me I am willing to learn and want to become a better fisherman for I am so tired of donating money to tournaments and never placing. will do almost anything to become better and really willing to get mentored.

Hello Everyone, I just found this site, and am on Sam rayburn and Toledo Bend a lot. I am a rookie for I cant seam to find any good fish. I dont have the know how to find fish, I am the captain for my boy's Team fishing the High school tournament, Right now they are in 77th place and would like to find some good fish for them. Fished this last weekend on Toledo Bend in six mile, we had a company tournament, only weighed in two fish that weighed 3.43, I need to join a club to get better at this, my father is a cat fisherman, always running trott lines, and me never having someone to mentor me. Please help I am so lost. I do have a ranger boat with a HDS 10 and a 7, would almost do anything to become a better bass fisherman, I am so tired of fishing tournaments where all I am doing is donating money to Castletine, Jonston, Newberry, (Danny - Steven Jonstons son), Rambo anf others. So until I learn how to fish more productive im going to stay away from Tournaments. I just love the compitition though.
