  1. That is a good area of the river. I'm gonna try Eagle this weekend. The river will be crazy for Memorial Day probably.
  2. That's pretty good for the Suwannee. I see you're hanging out here since no FBN anymore.
  3. With all that wood I'd also bang a small jig and craw around a bit.
  4. Just moved to Waynesboro about a month ago, Caught a few bass this weekend at Fuller and laurel lakes near pine grove furnace.Haven't moved my boat back yet so I was bank fishing.
  5. I would also add a lipless crank to that list.
  6. A friend and I had a little success today fishing traps very, very slow.Water temp was in the low 50s.
  7. I've been looking at the Ardent F700 or F500.They seem pretty rugged and they're made in the U.S.A.
  8. C'mon down! But it's been pretty chilly here lately!
  9. I lived in Huntingdon county for most of my life till I moved to Florida about 10 years ago.I never heard of Raystown ray. If y'all are planning a meet at Raystown in April I may have to tow my boat up that way.I'm bringing my boys up to go trout fish with Grandpa.I haven't been on raystown in years.
  10. a good jig tactic in that coontail is to use a 1/2 oz. or larger with Rage craw or paca craw as a trailer(they put out a good bit of vibration).Throw it out, shake it on the bottom for a few seconds then pop it up hard and let it flutter down again. It looks like a baitfish or craw trying to get away.Be watching for the strike on the flutter back down.
  11. If your CNC guy has a lathe and turns steel as well have him give you a used insert it should fit in there somewhere near the front of the lipless one.
  12. Rig the worm on a straight shank hook and use a snell knot.
  13. It's been awhile since I've fished for smallies, but in the cooler months in PA I had some success with a brown hair jig tipped with a black Uncle Josh kicker frog(not sure if they even still make these).
  14. I would see which was cheaper the fine or the stamp before I tested that theory, lol.
  15. When I lived in PA there were a few stocked trout streams that were also good smallmouth fisheries. You couldn't fish them at all unless trout were in season, let alone without the stamp.Just another way to get your money. It usually goes for a decent cause though like stocking and fishery management.
