  1. If you are fishing in thicker cover with your square bills, get the 705. Otherwise I'd get the 704 or the 6104. Whichever length you prefer.
  2. First fish was on Jan. 1 with a blade bait. Second was on a lipless crankbait
  3. Does anyone know? Thanks
  4. 12 lb test. I have used Vicious and FC Sniper without any issues, but this line always causes me problems
  5. I ran out of line... so I resorted to Red Label from Walmart. Even after soaking it in Line and Lure overnight, it is still unmanageable. Every cast I would get line fluff. I'd like to say I know what I'm doing with a baitcaster, I had my brakes set and spool tension right. Lure I was throwing was appropriate for the rod. Is it me, or the line??
  6. If you have an Academy nearby, go there and get an Ethos rod.
  7. All Terrain Skip n Jig is a good one.
  8. How much do you have? I just bought an academy ethos rod, and with their mettle reel, this is an excellent combo under 100 dollars.
  9. I have used these before. A dab of super glue and that thing will not come off you hook.
  10. Strike King Rodent
  11. I don't think the location matters. You should throw them anyway. I've caught fish on the S-waver 168 before
  12. spinnerbait / chatterbait for me. Thrown and thrown them but can't catch anything
  13. Pretty lookin fish you got there!
  14. I don't think you're ready yet.... there's no hooks, rod, reel, or line!!!!
