Yup, it is still there. The place is called Allegheny bait and tackle. Lock 3 bait and tackle has a better selection of tubes now. They are down Freeport road in Cheswick.

The Chigger craw is the absolute worst plastic ever invented. It is so bad I have decided to collect all unused bags so that I can "send" them back to Berkley! Send unused packs of Chigger craws via USPS to BASS_fisherman p.o. box 3122 Pittburgh PA 15239 ;D Actually I love Chigger craws!! They are very similar to the YUM product you mention as well as the Paca chunk. Now if you want something good, get yourself some Ragetail craw chunks! Those chunks have some amazing action on the fall! The first 3 mentioned dont flutter as well as the Rage tail chunk on the fall. They flutter moreso on the pull, or hop. While the Ragetail products flutter when a minnow swims past and farts!

Yup, I replaced all the boxes that came with it for Plano boxes and I use the provided boxes for extra storage at the house.

This thread has been moved along and just about forgotten about, so I decided to bump it back. I was out today and hit a few ponds just to check out what the water is looking like. Burrel park pond is frozen except around the aerators. No possibility of fishing:( I also went by the pond in the murrysville business park and it too is completely frozen. Big surprise I drove down to the Allegheny river and hit lock 5 for about an hour. Not one bite! But I did catch a stick and lost a couple lures!!!

I was fishing with a guy in Erie and he was throwing a tube and hooked a fish maybe a hair bigger than that fish. I didnt get a pic though. We laughed a good bit after that.

I had a similar encounter to Muddy's. I was fishing a small pond and as I walked around the far side I looked down and seen a nest with an egg in it. I remember thinking as I was a mere 2 feet away, "well look at that, a nest". All of the sudden I here this hissing noise and as I turn to see what it was I notice this goose flying straight at my face! I swung my rod around and towards this flying demon bird from hell just in time for it to turn off. I distanced myself from it's nest and continued to fish and this bird wasn't gonna have it. The goose kept hissing and trying to attack me. I finally moved back around and away from that bird and it finally left me alone. While fishing I also watched as several other ducks and geese were chased off by this demon bird from hell. One other time I was fishing a remote pond and had a deer start snorting and pawing the ground at me. After a few minutes I just walked away and he stopped.

The only advice I can give you is that if you get the BPS retriever on the string, retie the knot!! I had one for 20 minutes and lost the stupid thing due to a crappy knot! >

I havent seen that episode, but I love Zona's enthusiasm. 'What a manbearpig!!" Who the heck says that? He is original and has a great personality. That is what makes his show so great.

At first I was thinking you overreacted. But when I read the part about you not feeling right about this guy, I instantly related. I have had several situations where I had a bad gut feeling about someone or a certain situation and the times I didnt do anything, it turned out badly. Always, always, ALWAYS follow your gut. And oddly enough in this case I would have to agree with RW. I'd have called the cops. Something like that you cant be too safe. I may be even more paranoid than you. I always pay attention to my surroundings and watch EVERYBODY. But then again, I only do what the voices in my head tell me to. ;D

It shows just how bad the economy is getting. It's good you are going to keep your job though. Glad to see you around, I work an obscene amount as well and a lot of stuff goes by due to time restrictions. Wish you could make it to Kentucky, but I'll think of you while I am there and I'll even catch a fish in your name!
