  2. I dont know if you can, but maybe try to reset the unit? That might help the unit to load the card.
  3. He should have cut the burried hook from the crank first. That is how you do it though. Luckily I have yet to bury a hook in myself past the barb. I have had many good jabs but not that deep.
  4. Me three, and Joe four, aka simplejoe.
  5. Pa BASS federation In the club I fish in, it is more or less up to the boater. I can and will jump upfront if given the chance, but I wont ask. I have fished with all the guys in the club and have always been asked where I want to go next, or where we should go. As far as our state federation works it, here is the official rule from the book: BOAT OPERATION AND EXPENSE: A full discussion must be held between the two partners prior to a morning departure as to the schedule of boat operations. This schedule must permit each partner equal time to fish from the front of the boat and to operate the trolling motor, so as to afford each partner the opportunity to fish his/her selected waters an equal number of hours. Distance traveled to fishing locations must be considered in order not to deprive either partner fishing time while traveling to and from fishing waters. If a competitor waives the above rights, he/she shall retain the right to select the fishing waters for one-half the tournament day. Any competitor who, in the judgment of the officials, operates the boat in such a manner as to unfairly handicap his/her partner shall be disqualified. In view of the large expense involved in operating and maintaining a tournament bass boat, it is suggested that the non-boater partner share, at minimum, the cost of gas and oil for the competition day. In BASS events where observers replace anglers as the official rider, observers cannot assist the competing angler in any way. Observers are not required to help with gas and oil expenses.
  6. Is that a cut scene from deliverence?
  7. That's nuts! It looks like you caught that fish, burried a hook into it, and then dipped the whole thing into epoxy! Nice job!!
  8. Very well put!! I couldn't agree more.
  9. Click this link and read it! Best info you'll find! It is clear and well written too. http://www.***/education/baitcaster-setup-101.html
  10. Thats pretty cool Dom! I bet that brought back some good memories for you. Wait a minute, you have offspring?
  11. frogtog: Im not your buddy, pal LCpointerKILLA: Im not your pal, friend frogtog: Im not your friend, guy LCpointerKILLA: Im not your guy, buddy I dont often visit Tackle tour, but bass fishing is an expensive sport, plain and simple. Even if you only purchase "affordable" rods and reels, a rain suit, and lures and such, your still talking a good bit of money. But believe me dude, I can see where your coming from.
  12. We did the boats, cars and they had/have like a rocket thing too. It was always alot of fun.
  13. Tada!!! http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1151590913/0#0
  14. I have an AT&T Go Phone, and I love it! I usually spend $25.00 on a re-fill card and that lasts me around 2 months. They have a 25 cent per minute plan or a 10 cent a minute plan. I have the 10 cent a minute plan, but they charge you $1.00 per day you use the phone on that plan. The re-fill cards come in $15, $25, $50, and $100. The smaller the amount you get the shorter you have to use the cards minutes. I think $15 you get a month to use the minutes, for $25 you get 3 months, not sure for $50, and for $100 you will be good for a year. For every $100 you put on the phone you get a bonus, but I seem to get them more often. The minutes rollover as long as you dont let them expire. They also have texting packages you can purchase too. Messaging 200 - $4.99 1000 - $9.99 Unlimited Messaging - $19.99 Data 1 MB - $4.99 100 MB - $19.99 Night & Weekend Minutes (select plans only) Unlimited - $19.99 If you dont make alot of calls, or send alot of texts, a prepaid phone is a great deal. for more info on AT&T prepaid: http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/get-started/index.jsp?q_returnUrl=/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-plans/pyg-cell-phone-plans.jsp%3FwtSlotClick%3D1-001OI6-0-1%26WT.svl%3Dcalltoaction http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/go-phones/gophone-options.jsp?wtSlotClick=1-001OI6-0-2&WT.svl=calltoaction One more thing...... If you do let your minutes expire, and you don't re-fill your phone within 30 days, they recycle your number! I had that happen to me and didn't find out until AFTER I tried to add $25.00 to my old phone!! So who ever got my number got $25.00 worth of phone time on me.
  15. I was thinking it imitates either a perch, or a gill.
  16. I really like the whole line. The Rage craw and lobster are probably my fav for pitching. I like the Rage craw chunk for my jigs. The anaconda is a great worm with a unique profile. The shads are an excellent topwater bait. You can almost bet that when most are throwing buzz baits, you can successfully throw a shad and catch the fish that they miss. And the shads are weedless! You can fish them over weeds and get some amazing hits! Same with the Rage frog. I was fishing with someone and he was throwing a zoom frog and I was throwing the Rage tail frog. I caught 2 fish that denied his frog. They also have lizards, and space monkeys-which is a creature bait. I haven't had much luck with the space monkey, but I don't fish creature baits much. The lizard has a ton of action, but again, I dont fish lizards much. Maybe this year. I like all the colors as long as it's Green Pumpkin! 17. I use the Plano flipsider box for my cranks. I have never seen a FTO falcon box, but I have heard that the Plano flipsider box has more space.
  18. I too have read reports of radio telemetry studies done on bass. Basically they have found that some bass are constantly moving, some move here and there, and a few stay put and dont move at all.
  19. That's an awesome car!! I used to love the pine wood derby when I was a cub scout! I never did well, but it was always alot of fun.
  20. A long time ago there was all sorts of wonderful swag! T-shirts and sweatshirts, and hats.. oh my! But from what I understand it didn't sell well enough so Glenn marked it 50% off just to get rid of it. :-/ Now the only ones to get BR swag are the mods. I was one of the lucky ones to get some swag before it was all gone.
  21. 1- This site 2-Experience on the water.
  22. Your welcome, I enjoyed it too! 8-)
  23. I use differnt brands for different applications.
  24. That is one big, ugly carp!! How long did it take for you to get her in? I bet that was a fun fight there!! In your photobucket link, you have a pic with some flies. Did you tie those dragon fly ones?
