  2. I can remember when I started on this board there were only a handfull of guys from PA. Now there's a bunch!! Does anyone recongnise the pic from below?
  3. Welcome to the forum!!! Now your next step is to get rid of those hunting shows and put a substantial amount of fishing shows into the programing so us Northern anglers have something to do over the colder months.
  4. Hey yall, Look what I found!! http://edbassmaster.com/
  5. In early October Ed entered a contest on a website called if.net. He entered a video of impersonations along with a bunch of other people. People voted on the funniest and the producers of Mad tv picked Ed as the best. He is going to be on an episode of Mad tv which will be filmed on December 11. Check out the link below and watch! Nice job ED! http://www.if.net/contests/Comedy/14081?series=
  6. Woke up at 3am, got a bite to eat. It's 32 degrees outside and I am debating to go fishing or not.
  7. El Caminito del Rey (English: The King's pathway) is a walkway, now fallen into disrepair, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near Álora in Málaga, Spain. The name is often shortened to El Camino del Rey. HISTORY: In 1901 it was obvious that the workers of the Chorro Falls and Gaitanejo Falls needed a walkway to cross between the falls, to provide transport of materials, vigilance and maintenance of the channel. Construction of the walkway lasted four years. It was finished in 1905. In 1921 the king Alfonso XIII had to cross the walkway for the inauguration of the dam Conde del Guadalhorce, and it became known by its present name. The walkway has now gone many years without maintenance, and is in a highly deteriorated and dangerous state. It is one meter (3 ft) in width, and is over 700 feet (200 m) tall. Nearly all of the path has no handrail. Some parts of the walkway have completely collapsed and have been replaced by a beam and a metallic wire on the wall. Many people have lost their lives on the walkway in recent years. After four people died in two accidents in 1999 and 2000, the local government closed the entrances. However, adventurous tourists still find their way into the walkway. The regional government of Andalusia budgeted for 2006 a restoration plan estimated at 7 million. 8. Hey now, don't go bringing me into this! ;D
  9. I have the same bag and when I fish with a boater that either has a duel console or a smaller boat, I put the bag on the back deck with the front of the bag faceing the motor, and I put my right arm through the shoulder strap. I haven't had a problem doing that yet. Plus when you get to the spot, it is already on the back deck so you don't have to move it.
  10. Come on folks!!!! We have over 17,000 members on this forum and only 11 participants? Come on, it'll be fun!!
  11. Like Sam said, it's about location. At my last tournament, me and my partner found a spot and fished it all day long. I ended up with first place and 15lbs 11oz. If your fishing a good piece of structure or cover, then I say yes, you could fish it for a while with good results. We started off at the spot and ended the day at the spot. We both caught a limit, and I culled another 3 fish. So throughout the day there was atleast 13 fish on this one spot. I am sure there was many more too. We both caught fish off the same lure, but he used a different color than I did.
  12. Why would that make a difference?
  13. That's what I was thinking. good
  14. Is this stricktly a fishing related exchange or whatever's clever?
  15. I would have to agree with Bassn Blvd. I dont want to start a fight here, but I know a few recruiters and they tell you what you want to hear within reason to get you in their branch. They ask you what you want out of life and tell you how there branch best suits your wants in life. And sometimes, more often than not, they flat out lie to you just to get you in. My brother's recruiter swore up and down he wouldn't be shipped over seas. Guess what? Right after basic training he was shipped over seas. This was in the 80's and he was shipped to Germany. For my senior year in High school we had to do an internship. I did mine with a local recruiting office and was amazed at what they told poeple to get them signed up. I watched them sign people up who weren't really sure, but by the time they were walking out of the office, they were totally gung-ho. I do however know alot of vets and most of them loved their time in the military, and if they could go back, they would have done it as a career. Just use your brain when you talk to the recruiters. Know what you want and how to utilize those skills when you are discharged.

  17. Hi Folks, The Holiday Park Bass Busters in the Pittsburgh Pa area is currently seeking members for the 2009 season. We have 3 slots open and can accept boat owners and riders. Hurry though, the slots fill quickly!! The club fishes approximately 12 tournaments per year. We primarily fish Western Pa and Eastern Ohio. The club meets once a month at a restaurant located in Plum Borough. If you are interested in joining the club, you can check out our website below. http://www.hpbb.net/index.html
  18. I don't know what you could do other than visit here, and get as many bass fishing mags as you can to read. Alot of the members here do alot for the forum members over in Iraq. You could carve lures maybe, like crankbaits, and topwaters. Best of luck to you over there. Keep your head down!
  19. That's great!! Next time that happens, go to this website. They have soundboards that you can use to pick on telemarketers. I like the Judge Judy one the best. All her comments are clear and free of whitenoise, and backround noise. http://www.realmofdarkness.net/pranks/celebsoundboardsmain.htm http://www.realmofdarkness.net/sounds/judy/judgejudy-soundboard-1.htm You have to learn the layout of the buttons so you can get good responses and don't clue them into the fact your messing with them. This is a youtube vid using the same soundboard. The caller is a bill collector and stays on the line for over 10 minutes!!! I think it is hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2SXAcBOGBk
  20. I'm a Dynamic Interactions Developer as well as a Central Intranet Agent. It depends if my Dynamic Communications Facilitator wants me to market to the International Paradigm Engineers, or primarily to the Regional Implementation Directors. But sometimes I just work as Senior Operations Liason for the Product Accounts Administrator, who reports to the Principal Solutions Agent except when he is not there, then the Product Accounts Administrator reports directly to the International Tactics Representative. It is actually quite simple once you've been there for 50 years.
  21. I know!!!!!! I told him that after I gave him the money, and asked why he was selling it so cheap. He just wanted rid of it. I can't complain though.........................yet.
  22. It's a 7.5hp mercury.
  23. I use spinning gear for jb's in open water, and casting gear for jb's for around cover.
  24. I just got this boat and motor and I have some questions. Living in Pa, winterizing a boat is a must, but that is a bass boat that sits out all winter. Does a boat with a removable motor and gas tank still need winterized? The gas tank is portable, and has gas in it. I have it in my garage that isn't heated, but isn't as cold as outside. Should I put stabil in the tank? We keep our riding lawn mower in the garage along with 2 push mowers and they usually start fine in the spring. How about the motor- Should I hook in up to a big water barrel and run any leftover fuel out of it? Anything else I need to know?
