  1. I agree. If you are fishing thicker vegetation go with a thin skirt. Thinner vegetation, I go with a thicker skirt.
  2. I have a Mojo bass and i love it. Can`t say much for the other 2
  3. Livetargets and Evolve for hollow body, rage tail for soft plastic
  4. 3'' Chigger craw rigged on a VMC shaky head.
  5. What are the largest and smallest lures that you typically use (for bass)? Mine are: Smallest 2" grub with 1/32oz jighead Largest 8" Hudd
  6. Great blog, light jigheads with finesse worms are my go to baits during cold fronts or in the winter.
  7. Try a Spro, Livetarget or Evolve frog. If you mean a spinnerbait, i would go with either a Booyah or a Strike King. If you mean an inline spinner, i would go with a good old Mepps Black Fury.
  8. St croix Triumph 7` Medium power fast action spinning rod Shimano Sahara 2500 size spinning reel 10lb Sufix 832 braided line

  13. I fish them on a VMC shaky head jig and drag them along the bottom. Works wonders for both species of bass. We dont have Chain pickerel up here in Ontario, but the Northern Pike love them too.
  14. 5lb walleye and 30" Muskie. So many muskies in that lake that they are considered a nuisance species.
  15. Split shot rigs are very under utilized in bass fishing. Nice job!
  16. Saw a video of Rob Ford salmon fishing...
  17. Definitely with the FC Sniper
  18. I just found out something cool. A lot of you guys probably know this, but i found out all of shimano`s casting reels start with a `C` for casting (Chronarch, Caenan, Curado, Citica, Calais, etc.). And all of their spinning reels start with an `S` for spinning (Stradic, Sustain, Sahara, Stella, etc.). I`m not sure why I am so excited, but I just thought that I would share this with you guys.
  19. Big Texan colored Powerbait Thief
  20. I prefer cork, all of my rods have cork handles. I think it`s a matter of personal preference, but i do not like EVA at all. I might also point out that my favorite cork is Fenwick`s TAC cork. Feels great in my hand, and doesn`t get dirty nearly as fast as other cork.
  21. How does he stay that calm???
  22. Gotta love wade fishing! I should do it more but he water needs to be warm enough for me to stand in the water wearing in my swim shorts.
  23. Me too, all of mine work fine.
