  1. The thundermist lures T-turn is very good and tangle free.
  2. Can you elaborate a little bit. (Sorry i`m a beginner at disassembling reels).
  3. Does not happen on the cast, only on the retrieve.
  4. I bought a Tatula over the winter and havent had any problems with it. It has recently become really rough and it makes a loud noise whenever i crank the handle, as if the gear are not meshing properly. I have removed the spool a couple times, and maybe there is a special way to put the spool back in? The problem get worse as i tighten the spool tension knob. I really have no idea what to do, and before this issue, i really liked the reel. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks
  5. My favorite fish to catch is Steelhead, fly fishing. Even more than bass. I fish for them in creeks about 15 feet wide, where if you find the right pool, you will find a few 20 pounders. Biggest i have ever seen was probably 28 pounds. I thought it was a Chinook. Other than that, I love Browns, Rainbows, Muskies, and Carp. I know, Carp...
  6. Early summer, 3:00 in the morning, nice and cool, flat glass water, little bit of fog, throwing jitterbugs off a dock with my dad.
  7. In my opinion a jerkbait works better on a spinning rod, but out of a topwater and crankbait rod, I would opt for a crankbait rod.
  8. Rapala and Lucky Craft crankbaits, jerkbaits, topwaters.
  9. big jig with craw trailer
  10. spot on!
  11. Sometimes they just come off... what toad were you using. Maybe the hook isn't far back enough in the toad to catch more than the fishes lip.
  12. Mine is on an LTB but i use it for bass. If you can afford it, i have heard some good things about the Legend inshore. If not, maybe an Avid or Mojo Inshore. You can tell i love St. Croix rods.
  13. 7` ML Avid, Ballistic 2500SH spinning, 10lb 832. I use 3'' powerbait power tubes in Pumpkinseed almost exclusively, with 1/8th to 1/4 oz tube jigheads, exposed hook.
  14. i always reach down and grab them. Same for releasing, I always revive them by holding them in the water.
  15. I sincerely apologize... and no i will not make you a 'sammich'!
  16. 7' medium power fast action spinning rod, 3000 size spinning reel (6:1), 10 lb braid.
  17. I think it was home made. The nose part was very inconsistent and It looked as though the person carving it had slipped with their knife. I don't think you can see that in the picture, but one side is rounded and one side is flat.
  18. here ya go! picture doesn't even do it justice, its so cute!
  19. I use spinning gear a lot more than baitcasters, because I believe that they are more versatile. Of course some people will argue that point, but it comes down to personal preference.
  20. Get a 9cm rapala original floating minnow in a silver with black back color pattern. It costs 8-12$ depending on where you get it from, but It will always catch bass. If you need to get it deeper or cast it further, buy some split shot weights and put one or two about 6-8" up the line.
