  1. I have tried it, but I know Shimano has an action camera for 300$.
  2. Sufix 832. Super tough braid.
  3. I'm pretty sure it's bad for the fish to move it back and forth. And I try not to keep fish out longer than it takes to get the hook out.
  4. NRX 894C JWR with a Shimano Metanium 101HG. Maybe one day...
  5. Lipless crank.
  6. I have been hooked twice, once I was fishing a lipless crank and a small muskie hit it. I brought him in, and I thought I could remove the hooks with my hand. Nope! Hook went past the barb with an angry muskie thrashing around on the other end. He ended up ripping the hook right out though. Second time, I grabbed a smallmouth, but i had too little line out, my rod was loaded up, and my bail was closed, so when I grabbed the fish, the hook popped out, the rod unloaded, and the hook went in my finger up to the line tie. I fish barbless now...
  7. Sounds like you got a new honey-hole!
  8. 3rd time fishing and you caught a 7lber! Nice job!
  9. I was also wondering...
  10. Deps Slither K if you want the best. A cheaper option is a Pad Crasher or SPRO frog.
  11. Spot Removers are good, the VMC ones are my favourite though.
  12. Catch a 10lb steelhead on 4lb test. I've done it with 6, but not 4.
  13. They're one of my favorite pike baits.
  14. Trick worm Jackall flick shake worm Clone Fry Twitchtail minnow Northland Impulse jig crawler
  15. Chronarch CI4, see if you can find a used Core 50.
  16. I use something that matches the profile and colour of the topwater I was using. For example if I was using a 4" bone coloured walking bait, I would cast back with a 4" white Senko. And I rarely ever make a cast back with a topwater if they miss it, I normally throw back immediately with a follow-up bait.
  17. St Croix Avid would make a great match with a 1000 size Stradic. Just one suggestion, maybe try using lighter braid, it would make casting a bit easier.
  18. Welcome Alex!
  19. Having not been salmon fishing in a year, I think I may have forgotten their power. Hooked one drifting eggs today, probably would have gone 30lbs+. Fought it for a good 10mins before the hook popped out. It almost spooled me twice, even with almost 200 yds of line on the reel. What a fish. I also saw a couple other fish, but the bite was pretty bad because of a big rain we just had. The water was like chocolate milk, and the river was roaring. I was using a 3000 sized spinning reel, a 6'6'' medium spinning rod and 12lb 832. 20lb braid and a 9' rod next time...
  20. Senko Shallow running crankbait Popper
