  1. Rapala J-13 because its big and shiny...
  2. Being an idiot. Pulling line out of the tip when the rod is vertical, high sticking fish and hallway fishing, i have even had a salmon run in between my legs while wading and snap my new 13' float rod. this is gonna be a painful thread.
  3. I stay away from it for the most part. Most of my local lakes don't have a very good LMB population anyways, so I try to do everything I can to reserve what little quality bass fishing Toronto has left. I tend to target rainbows during the spring anyways.
  4. 1/16th oz brown marabou with black bucktail highlights. Google 'Smallmouth hair jig tying' and that should point you in the right direction.
  5. That's pretty much my dream setup...
  6. Avid is a very nice rod. Fenwick AETOS is also great, and us a bit cheaper than the Avid.
  7. Clackin' Rap is pretty good.
  8. *** Black and maybe a Legend Xtreme
  9. Topwaters, jerkbaits, light t-rigs, maybe small spinnerbaits.
  10. Braid+leader. Very sensitive and cuts weeds better.
  11. I'm from Ontario, I fish, I'm a guy.
  12. I like the blue better than the red on the type R, may have to look into one of these.
  13. Green for fishing in weeds, yellow for slow sinking baits, black for clear water.
  14. I would probably go with a 7, but I have caught everything from gills to big carp on a 5. Really depends on the size flies you will be throwing.
  15. So it's 12lb and 20lb.
  16. More of a challenge landing fish on lighter line. More fun IMO.
  17. I also have this unit, but replaced the suction cup with a clamp.
  18. Gambler, GYCB, Jackall and Berkley are my favorites.
  19. Leatherman Wave knife or Rapala scissors.
  20. Pfluger 35, Shimano 3000, Daiwa 2000
  21. Size 7 Original Floater Silver/Black. Staring at it right now...
  22. My Daiwa Ballistic SH finally gave out, so I guess I would go with the Stradic FJ. I haven't had it long, and it has held up to some nice steelhead.
