  1. Got out for a few more hours today six bass total. 3 lm caught on 3/8 oz black/blue chatterbait and 3 sm caught on 1/2 oz white spinnerbait. All caught on a pause in the retrieve. Best of the day 3 lb 6 oz.
  2. Thought you might be interested in knowing these live in a lake in Suffolk county N.Y. that I fished a lot before moving upstate. Don’t know exactly what the name of these are though.

  4. I’m in Greene county and managed 6 LM on Spinnerbaits and 1 SM coming on an underspin today. Water temp 51 here. Bass caught near riprap shores.

  6. Got out for a few hours today with 5 more coming on Spinnerbaits. Three of the better ones.
  7. In the spring time I throw Spinnerbaits a lot as they work so well. As scalface, I’ve caught most of my bass so far on them. My lake has been around 50* or so for the last couple weeks and have done well with a 1/2 oz in a white/shad pattern with silver blades. I would like to add this is in stained water with only one foot of visibility where “usually” i’d throw a darker skirt and gold blades but the white/silver has produced much better.
  8. I believe you’ll be fine with either 30 or 40lb. I use 20 for chatterbaits and various Wakebaits/topwater lures. I use 40 lb for frogs.
  9. A few from the last couple days, all caught on Spinnerbaits.
  10. Depending on what lure I’m throwing.... 10 lb sufix advance mono. 15 lb big game. 20 to 40 lb power pro.

  17. Same here, I don’t even have a memory of the last time I had an issue with flouro. I don’t use any leaders, and do use flouro,(sniper), braid(pp),and mono(this year sufix advance) straight up on all my setups. Maybe I’m lucky but I don’t have problems with any of them.
