  1. Been using pp for years, never had any negative issues.
  2. Way to go! Good bass.
  3. I don’t know...maybe a hole in one. Don’t like her umbrella.
  4. 6.9 total madness I say.
  5. Something different and cool, nice!
  6. 8 yeah shorter and faster, and she’s nice to look at.
  7. Pitching a jig into a lay down this past September using my 14 month old DX 705C I had a hit, set the hook, fish pulled, I pulled back and snapped the rod right in the middle. One clean break, why I don’t know. Wrote a letter explaining what took place with payment of 2 checks totaling $100. $80 for new rod, $20 for shipping. Hopeing I might get lucky and get my $80 ck back. No dice. Love the rod and I’m not mad, just wondering also what is defect or operator error.

  15. Welcome, enjoy the forums.
  16. Rods- Abu, Dobyns, Okuma. Reels- Lews. Lines- braid Power Pro, sunline sniper flouro, sunline defier armillo. Leader- None. Hooks- Owner. Plastics- Netbait, BPS. Jigs- War Eagle, Siebert. Hard baits- wide variety.
  17. Netbait B-Bug and paca craw, SK rage bug and craw, pit boss just some I like to use. There are thousands to choose from, select one that appeals to your eye and fish it with confidence.
  18. I like to fight the fish. The more the bass jumps the more I like it. To me unless your fishing for food or to weigh in a tourney I see no reason to ski a bass to the boat at all. What to take a picture to show grandma, or say ohhh he swam away fast he’s going to live another 10 years. I can go into my yard, tie on a three pound weight and cast over and over again reeling in as fast as I can. Not that enjoyable to me.
  19. I use 20 lb sniper for pitching plastics/jigs in heavier cover. 14 and 16 lb sniper for spinner baits, swim jigs, rattle traps, some swimbaits, and crankbaits. Sparse cover plastics/jigs.
  20. I believe your in good shape and will be fine. In #2 i prefer 14 or 16 lb sniper, but that’s just me. Good luck.
