  1. Catt....I picked a few areas in Six Mile from the hook n line map using what I have learned here. 1) As you enter Six Mile Creek on the north bank under "Six Mile" of Six Mile Bay. Theres a point there with deep water access or creek channel running on both sides. 2) Head west from point #1 at Gilley's Point there is a hump marked 22' with the creek channel running on the south side if it. 3) Continue west again to Six Mile field 23....south of that is a longer tapering point with a roadbed, grass and the creek channel access. What do you think of these areas?
  2. Ok Catt Im in the military and been fishing T Bend for a little more than a year now. I have to break myself of beating the bank.....learn the deeper aspect of the lake. This is what I have learned. 1) 15 foot of water +/- 3 ft 2) Do map study with a 3D mindset 3) Get off the bank 4)The outer grass edge is not the edge we normally see 5) In Dec/Jan look for wood/stumps 6) When selecting grass to fish, look at the topography below it 7) Eliminate unproductive patterns/water.....duplicate productive patterns/ water Ok think I covered the main points. I asked about Six Mile and you said to pick shore where creek channel swings near it. Ok deeper water aspect. Now time to put the pieces together. Thank you Catt!
  3. Catt....can we start another winter topic? Ill pick the creek......Six Mile in the winter. If you were goug to fish it this time of year, where would you focus? What are you looking for? Oh btw everyone.....Merry Christmas!
  4. I have read every page going back to 2008 when this started. Its amazing at the wealth of knowledge and experience speaking on this forum. I have tried alot of what you guys have suggested on T Bend but have lacked quality fish. Grass...theres just so much of it and its really confusing at times. What do you guys look for this time of year? Shallow grass, deep grass, grass near creek channels edges, grass on points? I try to pick an area and learn it but I must be over doing it. Suggestions?
  5. Hello all. Been watching this forum for awhile now and decided to join. I moved here last March and been trying to figure out Toledo Bend. Great information here and thank you Catt for all you do.
