  3. What's up forum goers, Been a while since I've posted in here and I look forward to getting back. With gun season opening up, I picked up a new rifle which is a Mossberg .270. I need a scope for it and I was wondering what yall think my best options are for around 125? I hunt pretty close range, and I wouldn't be shooting over 100 yards at a deer. I have been using a 12 gauge shotgun with a slug so I'm pretty new at choosing scopes haha. Thanks for all the help guys, Jake Cokely
  4. It's in two mile creek park. We launch there then spend the whole day going wherever the bass take us
  5. Can't wait. Heading out there this weekend!
  6. Some buddies and I were fishing the other week and it was getting pretty stormy outside. Right as we were throwing our stuff in the back of my truck, a tree about 20 ft away from us got struck but luckily fell the other way. Another time was during a baseball game wand there was a tin roof covering the stands of the field we were playing on and it got struck. I despise lightning with a passion
  7. Has any one ever been out to spring water ranch before?
  8. Around 6-midnight are really fun where you can catch numbers and lunkers. It's also cooler and when you're down here in Mississippi, that's a win.
  9. Man I was hoping it was just a hoax. Such a great actor and comedian,he will be missed
  10. My opinion is tony never meant to hit the guy. The guy made a mistake in trying to confront him in the middle of the race. I do think Tony's emotions got the best of him(like they do very often) and he knew he was getting close to him but it was just to ruffle his feathers with absolutely no intention of hitting him. I don't think he realized how close he got until he ended up hitting him. Both sides had very poor judgement which wound up in the unfortunate fatality that shouldn't have happened.
  11. Once you gut the fish and scale it, leave the fins on the tail and all. Then just grease up the frying pan and toss the fish in. Next crumble up a bunch of ritz crackers on it on both sides. It's delicious and it's how I cook red fish too.
  12. What ever it was isn't hanging around anymore. It's either dead or if it was a bigfoot then it's gone. I
  13. Jeter's game is all about his consistency. I doubt he ever took PED's but he was able to get good stats on a regular basis. Now adays Jeter may not be the strongest, fastest or best player but he comes up when the Yankees need him. He is one of the strongest mental players to play the game. You don't just stick around the majors for as long as he has just being an average player. His career stars are where they are because he was good enough to put up solid numbers every year. I do think the all star game was way too much all about Derek Jeter this, Derek Jeter that. If you played a drinking game for every time you heard Derek Jeter then you would be in the intesive care unit if you were lucky. I get the feeling now that he feels like he is bigger than the game and you can just see it in interviews and the way he carried himself. Sorry for the long post
  14. Compliment him on the bat flip too. That's just awesome
  15. Fishing for catfish on a 30 foot peer in a private lake with huge catfish. I heard a huge splash and I saw my rod going under. It was about 15 feet where I was so I couldn't get it no matter what I tried. I was bass fishing the next day and felt a huge strike in my crank bait and I had hooked my rod and on the end of the rod was a 10 pound catfish. My pb catfish from a rod and reel
