  1. It was actually a sensor before the fuel filter. The sensor that alarms when there is water in the fuel. Bad sensor caused the alarm to go off. Thanks guys for you input!
  2. Hey guys. This weekend we ran the boat Thursday and Friday without any issues at all. (04 Yamaha 225 ox66 motor) Got gas and filled oil tank Friday night before tourney on Saturday. Saturday morning at the ramp the alarm goes off when I first start the engine. I got up on plane with the alarm going off and within a few minutes it put me in RPM reduction mode. Sometimes the alarm would go off and others it would not. When it did not go off it did not put me in safe mode. The engine peed the entire time, I had oil and it was getting to the engine, and I had water pressure along with good battery voltage. Wasn't sure if anyone had experienced these issued before. Thanks!
  3. 2500/25 is pretty common. I prefer a smaller reel most of the time. (2000/20)
  4. Currently I am running 3 batteries. 2 for the trolling motor, and the other is the cranking battery. Hooked to the cranking batteries are two lowrance units, talon, led lights ect. Wanted to know how many batteries you guys run, favorite brands, and sizes! Thanks!
  5. I'm a freshman this year and I'm fishing for Shippensburg University. Its a smaller school but maybe I can help a little. We just fished our first event in Virginia and it was an awesome experience. I met tons of great people in just a few days. Good luck and let me know if you have any specific questions!
  6. Ive been fishing tournaments for a few years now. You can see if there are some local clubs around you and fish as a rider (co angler). You can also look into the FLW BFL's. You can register as a co which is a great way to learn different styles of fishing and make some connections which is the biggest thing in bass fishing. Let me know if you have any other questions. I can try to help you out
  7. Slow rolling is always a good place to start. In more clear water you can give it a pause or two and let it fall a little, depending on your trailer. They'll pull a lot of fish out of grass lines and that are stuck to stumps and laydowns.
  8. Its an awesome bait. The hooks are angled up just enough and the Trokar hooks are awesome. Hookup ratio is great! When you fish it a little faster it dips a little bit. And like said above, it will go through anything. Great bait even for the price. Working on building up a box of them!
  9. My middle seat was taking a beating and I tried to take off the back but got to the point I just took off the whole seat and made a step. I know not the same boat but just an idea!
  10. I would definitely wear one
