  1. Fishing Line is a lot of money. It gets even more expensive when you have more Reels to spool. I want to use FC Line.
  2. Yo Zuri Hybrid thoughts?
  3. Backing with Mono saves you Money on top of the line Floro line. You spool mono half way then spool the Floro on. Everyone does it and if you don't, it's more money leaving your wallet.
  4. I've been looking to purchase some new line. Floro is a lot of money. I really want to drop to floro more this fishing season. Before you purchase this line. Look in to these 2 Floro lines.. Seaguar Red Label and Sunline Super. Both of these lines are 15 bucks for 200yds. Before spooling the Floro, make sure to use mono backing 1st, then add the floro line. You can spool 3 reels with 1 200 yd spool.. Hope this helps.
  5. Since a lot of you hate the P-Line Fluroclear. I have another Line that i'm looking at. Would you guys have this line as your mainline?
  6. Check out Ebay. I bought a new Revo SX for 73 bucks. You can get 2 Revos.
  7. Guys i just bought a Revo SX Baiter caster for 73 bucks on Ebay! Abu fans jump on this reel at this price!! You have to search ebay..
  8. Yeah don't grip so hard. I have the same Rods. I like them, very good rods
  9. Buy Seaguar Red Label..
  10. Fans of Abu Garcia, i'm guessing a new line of Revos is coming out. The Revo SX is being cut in half of their price. I was fishing with it the other day. I'm loving this SX. I paid 83 bucks brand new for it. I may have to buy another one. I know a ton of people have mix brand reel fans. I think Abu Garcia is a great reel to own and fish with. People complain about how certain reels lose their smoothness. Well guys, you need to do a little lubbin on that reel. I lubed a 4 Yr old black max the other day. I mean cleaned and lubed. I got that reel casting farther then some 200 dollar reels. Just thought i'd make a Post about Abu Garcia. I'm a fan and i have 6 Abu Reels. I doubt i'll go to another Company..
  11. I have no experience with Lews. They may be a great reel. I have no clue. Everyone will have, good and bad experiences with a certain company they pick. Maybe I'll find a good deal on a Lews and buy one.
  12. Thinking about trying Lews out. Then i saw a Revo for 75 bucks new. I've been a Abu gear guy for a while. Tough on what to do. Just like you guys buying a reel that wasn't a Lews.
  13. I like Abu Garcia. When i started out with bait Casters about 4 years ago. Dicks had a Black Max combo for 60 bucks. I bought it, and only have one Bait Caster (Dawia) that's not Abu Garcia. i think that'll great Reels. I think some that complain about the reels breaking are youngsters. parents buy them a Reel, and they have no clue, the value of a dollar. Till this day, that Black Max still works. I actually still fish with it.
  14. This whole Site is all about Lews reels. I can get a brand new, Revo Sx for 75 bucks now. It's kinda hard to pass up that deal. I never fished with a Lews reel. One of you guys can ship me out a (LH) Baitcaster you don't use anymore..
  15. With a budget like that, you can get a few Bait Caster combos. Reel brands are tough to pick from. Everyone here, has their own likes. I'm a Abu Garcia fan. I like their braking system. Plus i used their reels for years with no issues. So pretty much do some research, if you don't have a brand you like.
  16. You most be a Lews fan?
  17. Is there any difference in the $100 to the 130 model?
  18. I'm doing research on both Reels. I think the Lews would be the better buy. How many of you would buy a Lews LFS for 75 dollars and change?
  19. I'm in between these 2 Reels. I need some help picking between these 2.
  20. Daiwa and Abu Garcia are great reel companies. You can not go wrong either way. Don't let the Revos price drop scare you. The Revo is a great reel. The Daiwa is a larger profile reel. I'll say this, the Daiwa isn't as smooth as the Revo. I have both reels and i like both.
  21. I have a Daiwa Tatula i use for Flipping. It's a great Reel. You really don't need to speed over 300 bucks for a flipping reel. Check out the Tatulas on Ebay or Amazon. You may get a 200 dollar reel for 100 bucks.
