  1. I love the xterras but it had bad gas mileage even without the boat. Recently bought a v8 grand cherokee with the hemi and i cant even tell my boat is behind me. Comfortable vehicle plus my gas mileage is pretty good without the boat. Averaging 13 mpg with the boat and 18 without
  2. I towed with a 3.3l v6 xterra for a while. Was an absolute dog while going up any inclines. Even though it had a tow package and a tranny cooler I had to upgrade the cooler and ended up replacing my brakes more often than i cared for. It can work but long distance trips at higher speeds are just downright frustrating. Vehicle was rated to tow 5000lb
  3. I recently came into possession of a keel guard for free. The previous owner bought this new 5 years ago but never installed. Guard is in its original packaging unopened. My question is do you foresee any problems with the integrity of the adhesive after sitting for so long? Any input is appreciated.
  4. Power poles!
  5. WI guide, do you mind me asking who you insure thru?
  6. If youve got a rocky bottom swim a grub on a jighead. Deadly on smallies!
  7. I had something similar happen last year. I was able to get the race off but very slightly damaged it in the process. Dont risk an imperfect race because it will destroy your bearing in a hurry. I picked up new complete hub assembly's at northern tool for $40 a piece. Cheap investment for peace of mind!
  8. Love mine! Only fished one season with it so far but a huge difference. I swapped from a similar set up as yours. Batteries last all day(and then some) and only seem to require charging every other day due to the maximizer. Tons of power to get through the thickest weeds and pads. Double check that your nav lights are visible with motor down. I have 42" shaft and lights were not always visible depending on how high motor was set. Ended up wiring in some lights in the rub rail to be safe
  9. Ive thrown them into some pretty nasty places and i always got them out no problem. I actually caught myself trying to get hung up at times and caught fish in places i wouldnt expect to.
