  1. I try not to use anything below a 10lb diameter so I use 30lb minimum on my casting rods.
  2. Some good suggestions in this thread. I too like the Terminator baits but if I could only have one it'd be the War Eagle Mike McClelland finesse spinnerbait in either mouse or pond scum perch.
  3. Occasionally I'll use a snap when cranking but I almost always tie a palomar direct. The only time I use swivels is when fishing in-line spinners. I've tried a few different clips w/ swivels but almost all my break offs were happening at the swivel so tying direct is the way to go IMO.
  4. Wow thank you! I didn't know the parts from the E series would fit the newer reels. Yea I expected small parts but not THAT small. I have no doubt I can do the work I just didn't know what I was getting myself into at the time. Lesson learned.
  5. Thanks I looked it up and there currently not available with no ETA so looks like I'll have to wait.
  6. So while taking the reel apart, again, I discovered a tiny spring on my desk and after looking at the schematics for the reel I think the click pin flew out. After seeing the size of the spring I don't imagine finding the pin is going to be an easy task. I think my only option is to order another pin and hope that's the problem.?
  7. I have it all lined up. I'm able to loosen and tighten the drag it's just isn't clicking anymore when I turn the drag star.
  8. So I wanted to change to handle on my Shimano Citica 200G and it seamed easy. I notice after I put the handle back on that it wasn't clicking as I adjusted the drag. I never took anything off but the handle and don't see what the problem is. Are there any preloaded springs that I'm not seeing that could have came loose behind the drag star or something? I'm don't know much about reels but have no idea how I screwed up something as simple as this.
  9. Don't mean to throw thread off topic, but where at in Delaware?
  10. Well I'm not exactly new. I've been a member here for the past 3 years or more, but after numerous attempts at signing into my old username (can't remember what email address was after not having posted here since last spring) I decided to just create another account. So anyways it's nice to be back!
