  1. Tried something out the other day turned out great can't wait to test em out.
  2. I used a Cad software and designed it myself and had a machinest mill it out. I didn't really like the do it mold version. made a mod here recently and these have been a hit
  3. Thanks that's the plan if river levels can get back right up 8' over normal today. Going to try a few diff color patterns this weekend
  4. Impressed with progress I've made over the past year lure making still a lot to learn but absolutely love the powder paint I'm mixing up
  5. Now have them from 2/0- 6/0 and mad a mod to do 1/9oz on sizes 2/0-4/0
  6. Not this mold I designed it myself and had it milled. The production mold similar is more bananmas shaped and weight is more in the bend instead of forward towards the eye of the hook
  7. Those look good, and I agree I've spent more money trying different wire than anything. And fortunately I had a machinest mill my mold after I designed in cad.sodtware
  8. that is cheap for them, but not sure how I would or what I would throw on that type of lead
  9. My favorite for 100+ degree days middle of summer between river shoals. Turns river into pond fishing Love some swim baits, but my absolute favorite is without underspin on 1/12oz 4/0 ewg with a ribbit frog. Hammers the smallies down south Love a 1/20oz for flukes as well
  10. Yes sir will do. I gave several to a few friends and they loved them, will hit Mama's pond up soon, still wet and raining, guess I'm a fair weather fisherman. Oh well
  11. I could make a mid and make 1)9oz do you guys think 1/9 would be too light, I'm also going to make in 2/0 and 3/0 sizee
  12. yeah im going to play with some tomorrow at my grandmas pond, ought to be fun
  13. Yes sir right in the hear of sc. What kind of jig head underspin you looking for
  14. Put together my own underspins, now just need the local River to simmer down, o about 20'. Pic of land is of my place 450yards from main river
  15. Ten four thanks guys. Easy decision. I usually only fish Fenwick but lost my connection, so not really wanting to downgrade
  16. Just wondering what everyone thinks of the 6gill rods, I've searched some forums and main feedback I've seen are reels are junk, but rods seem to be nice. Wanted to see which model everyone prefers and which ones I might need to stay away from. thanks
  17. dang I cant find em, i'm looking haha
  18. Haha thanks. Been a good summer. Had a client catch the fattest I've ever seen for a River other day. 19.25"
  19. Been a great summer here fishing the broad in South Cak. Had an epic few days the other week with 4 18+" with biggest being 20.25". All caught on homemade Ned rig in either 1/5oz or 1/14oz
  20. So far they've been great. Only negative I've found is if you use a swimbait over 8" is I need a larger spring lock, but under that they work perfect
  21. They are mustad hooks, and yes i designed the hook myself I've had issues with spring lock if they didn't have a center pin but never an issue with one. Went from one fish per fluke with weight shank to 4-8 with spring Lok. Frogs from about 1-2 to 3-5.
  22. I'm buying the screw locks. Then I either powder coat the lead or I found some adhesive that I dip them in for the plain lead/clear coat
  23. Been making my own weighted shank hooks. Came out great and work great Can make from 2/0-6/0. Smallest is 1/20 and largest is 1/5. In between have 1/9 and 1/12
  24. I designed my own weighted hook mold. Came out better than expected, wish I would of done better on the weights. Which I might adjust the 1/12 to 1/8 and the 1/6 to 1/4. Weights are 1/20, 1/12, 1/10 and 1/6. And hooks are 2/0-5/0.
