  14. ok fellow bass resource members, im 14 and have a very strong passion for fishing. i found a neighbor hood pond a couple years ago and ive fished it with my neighbor since we found it and have caught some huge bass in it. anyway here recently this mad about 40 years old has been coming outside telling us to leave. my parents and i paid them a visit and tried to have a civil convorsation with the man and his wife but his wife was yelling and it was like talking to a street light post. the lake is state waters so my neighbor and i put our kayaks in and started fishing again he comes out saying he has talked to the sheriff about us and we leave so no more drama gets started. my neighbors dad who just retired from the police dept. asked the sherrif and nobady had talked to him about that. then the deputy said as long as we have permission we CAN fish there. and we have permission from 3 people. so guys and gals should i go fish there again? what are your thoughts on this?
  15. take a zoom super fluke in pearl white or white ice and hook it in the tail portion with a small drop shot/wackyworm hook, put a nail weight in the nose (a finishing nail works great) and drop it strait in the bed. the reason for hooking it in the tail is because alot of bass will grab the bait from the back to carry it out of the bed and if you were texas rigging the fish wouldnt get the hook and the bass would spit it out and the jokes on you. This is very frustrating by the way. also try a 2 inch Berkley Chigger Craw texas rigged (weighted or weightless) green pumpkin is my favorite color for clearer water even slightly stained water. Be sure to bring quite a few Chigger craws, the bass like to rip the claws off. One claw baits have often produced more strikes because of the wounded look. inbox me if this worked thanks. hope this helped tight lines!
  16. i cant even keep track...... but i am in the south so its alot better fishing than up north in my opinion
  17. i fish the 3/8 oz mostly. i fish it on a medium heavy 7ft rod and 14 lb pline flouroclear. or 12lb mono. i havent had any problems with hook ups. most of my fish are very well hooked then again i havent caught any giants on a chatterbait.
  18. hey guys just wanted to see what you guys were throwing! ive been throwing a few different things but mostly the rebel teeny pop-r, zara puppy, zara spook, square bill cranks and various soft plasics like roboworms, zoom 4 inch finnese worms and brush hogs. anyway give me some feedback!! tight lines
  19. if and when I use prepaired bait I use magic bait chicken liver or whopper shad. the magic bait produces some good numbers. I personally prefer a creek chub about 4 to 5 inches in length and I just cut the head off sometime I use them live but I catch too many bass with live ones. this method has produced my biggest cat to date 25 lbs I caught it in a private pond.
  20. can someone help me with some cold water bass fishing tips. I live in ga and ive had some crazy cold weather. its January 28th right now. so please give me some tips based on those details. thanks and tightlines!
