  1. Yea I've tried them as trailers and they work.
  2. 1/2 oz. jig & Rage chunk Baby Rage craw 5" senko 2.5" Chugbug
  3. I love summer fishing. By far my most productive time, but I'm sure it's different in the south.
  4. My favorite structure to fish is overhanging limbs and/or downed trees. Can't pass a log or branch without tossing to it a couple times.
  5. Haven't purchased them yet, but I've been looking at Frogg Toggs. They make rain gear for fishing, hunting etc.
  6. I wear a light that clips to the rim of my hat. Lures I use are jitterbugs, T-rigged craws and worms and lizards. All black everything. And I where long sleeves and pants, but the bugs don't bother me until I turn the headlamp on.
  7. My favorite are Gamakatsu.
  8. Topwater. I love the blow ups of a topwater strike.
  9. You're probably right, although Samardzija did just turn down an extension offer from the Cubs. I think he might have realized that Garza was right, and he needs to get out of Chi-town if he wants a career. I wouldnt mind Peavy though. He is a true competitor, even if he isn't the Cy Young caliber Peavy anymore.
  10. Bass in upstate NY are all done with spawning for the most part. The nights are still cool, and I have found that days after not-as-cool nights are more productive right now. I have still been catching them though. Days where it stays humid into the evening have been very productive. Are you fishing the Catskills or the ADKs?
  11. Shouldn't have clicked on this...I was already hungry. Nice rainbows and awesome looking dinner. lol
  12. Almost time to start night fishing....Anyone try the night bite yet?
  13. Oh yes you can.
  14. In my experience, small pickerel bite me off a lot more than bigger pike. I've been bitten off by pickerel 5 casts in a row, but I never have trouble landing the 30"+ pike with no steel leader. Idk, that's just me.
  15. Rumor: Atlanta pursuing Samardzija! This might actually happen now that Floyd is back on the DL. Also heard the Braves are interested in Peavy.
  16. Just fished the Mohawk yesterday...very high and extremely muddy right now. As far as advice...be prepared to get snagged a lot. But that's most rivers anyway.
  17. 90% of the pickerel around here are about a pound at most...12-18". But every year we catch some big ones. 22"+
  18. Atlanta Braves
  19. Strange Wilderness?
  20. How about Kershaw? No walks, 15 Ks. So close to perfection.
  21. So many hits have come as I'm shaking the jig in place. I'll hop it or drag it a few times, then pause for a few seconds and then I'll start shaking it in place.
  22. There's more to the hobby of fishing than just catching fish...Collecting gear and lures is part of the whole fishing experience for me. But obviously not as important as catching.
  23. Couldn't believe it when I saw it...only 54. I had no idea he was even sick. Just last year I saw him on MLB network.
  24. Let's see some pictures! Gotta look at something while I'm stuck at work on this gorgeous day.
  25. Just curious, would you apply this to Largemouth as well?
