  1. The last 2 times I have called lowrance, i get foreign people that are very hard to understand. Are humminbird or garmin the same with outsourcing? He's trying hard but doesn't know the products
  2. I logged 3 trips that I would like to view and realized on C-map (after I uploaded one) that you have to have the pay package to view it. Is there a way to view my lowrance log files without paying even more for the setup? Thanks
  3. too late got the agms a couple weeks ago.
  4. I thought batteries want to drain almost all the way before being charged to full for longest life? What am I missing?
  5. Got this all setup with the 3 34dms and they ran 2 days on one charge and still had plenty left. Very pleased. Thanks guys
  6. count paces for 780yds? did you verify with a rangefinder? cope gets real picky after 600 yds
  7. Great info guys. They are fitting in a specific location that only the D34 is short enough to fit in. I wish the others would fit You have the same setup I will, so do you have an issue with running out of juice after a couple days with no charge?
  8. I'll check out the duracell, thanks. I can get the optima d34m for $250ish, so it's hard to pass it up. Model # 15020233 and SKU: 9016-103
  9. I just got a 36 volt trolling motor and need to upgrade the batteries. While comparing the different ratings between Optima and West Marine AGM batteries, I noticed the WM batteries had a far higher Amp Hour rating. Why is that? Same price range, same size, but about 25% more amp hours. Thanks
  10. Either. don't mind flat bottoms for the worm baits
  11. I searched there, but you have to make up an account. don't want another account out there for one stl
  12. Found all sorts of bait mold stl files, but have not found either of these. Thanks in advance
  13. Transducer compatibility is like magic to me. I searched Motorguide and Lowrance websites. Does anyone know if I can use the internal transducer in my MG for the Elite 7 HDI? Thanks.
  14. Hey guys. Getting moved to LR for a while with the AF this summer. Have to leave my boat at home. Looking for guys to fish with. I'll pitch in baits, fuel, etc. Let me know. Thanks. Also, looking for any advice for bank fishing. Thanks guys.
  15. Thank you for the insight. More info and colors would be very helpful. Depth? I am guessing around 30' in the rocks, but I am ignorant to the smallies there, just going off of what they do hear in Idaho.
  16. We had a bass trap found by someone and reported to the F&G. The officers than told our club about it prior to our tournament that morning and someone destroyed it. Would have been great if the officers would have just watched the thing and saw who was using it.
  17. Have some buddies taking a road trip to Wyoming and are going to hit flaming gorge and the green river. Anyone have any helpful tips on where and how to catch some nice smallies? Are they deep or shallow? I was told the bigger ones are further up north. Also told to use 3" grubs. Any advice is helpful. Thanks.
  18. For all current and prior military: You swore an oath to protect and serve the Constitution of the US against ALL ENEMIES foreign or DOMESTIC. Everyone must realize that the 2nd amendment is NOT about hunting like many lying politicians would like us to believe. It is the people's last resort to protect from a tyrannical government according to Jefferson. Wake-up people!!
  19. If you use the correct type of hot glue, it will hold up and not come off, if done properly. Try both ways and decide for yourself.
  20. Just be sure to use hot glue and NOT epoxy. This makes them easily replaced in the future without damaging the rod tip. It also guarantees perfect alignment since it is easily adjusted.
  21. Considering the bleeding hearts from socal that moved into your area, maybe they would enjoy me bringing some of the wolves they helped plant in Idaho. Nothing better than a canadian grey wolf eating your livestock ... pets .... family This was taken about 20 miles from my elk hunting area. Makes me sick that we have to kill these beautiful things, but they bring absolute destruction. 4 of them took out 80 sheep one night. And, no, they did not eat them. Just killed them and ate some guts.
  22. Starcraft1 (Bruce) was kind enough to take me out in his fancy Skeeter on Lake Oroville Monday. Great guy, wealth of knowledge and pleasure to fish with. The fishing was a little slow at times, but it didn't take away from the great experience. If you ever get down there, stop by Paradise Tackle. Bruce is an expert jig maker and knows all the colors, sizes, etc to catch fish on most any lake. ps - I didn't forget the deer jerky
  23. I am going fishing for smallies on saturday. The temp will be 52f, overcast and light rain. Water temp will be around 50f. Moon - Waning crescent. What do you think would be the best plan to follow?
  24. I love jigs and plastics. I am not very confident with jerkbaits, crankbaits, etc. It seems like all the BM or FLW tourneys are won by guys fishing crankbaits. Is it possible to be competitive in tournaments fishing mainly jigs, t-rigs and c-rigs?
  25. Decent mechanic, just need advice as to what it could be from those that have experience with these engines. Next time, I am going to buy the most bulletproof motor out there (if there is one).
