  1. 2 Blade will give you more open water speed/power but won't do well in the grass. You shouldn't have to worry about any vibration. Get a 3 for the grass as it'll do better than the two. Also, they used to make a 4-blade ninja that would go through ANYTHING, however you did it slowly. They had very little power in open water which is why Motorguide started making the 3 blade prop. It was a happy medium between the two.
  2. I only got to use them a little bit towards the end of last year. I caught a few on it and it looks like it's going to be a good bait. It's got a really nice gliding action and is different than most frog style baits.
  3. I thought it was ok. Sons of Guns is much better, but Paige is what made it worth watching! haha Even without her though I'd be better than retarded Amish Mafia!
  4. You sir have fine taste! If only they'd bring back American Guns!
  5. You should be fine, maybe slow down just a little with deeper cranks but no reason to think you can't fish with a 6.4

    Help!!!

I'd go with a spinnerbait, a crankbait, as well as a jerkbait all worked fairly slow.
  7. Good place to start, but every hull is different so go ahead and try out a bunch if you can and find out what is best for your setup.
  8. Put the big screen at the dash to help with your side scanning and searching. You can have them both run the same Side Scan transducer off the LSS box. However, Lowrance uses two transducers then, you have the one just for Side Scan and Down Scan, and another one for 2d sonar like your 5 has. I recommend mounting the new transducer to your TM and use that transducer for the 5 and the one on the back for the 7 at the dash. Then have them share the Side Scan/Down Scan transducer with the Ethernet connection.
  9. That'll be a good place to start. The trophy and trophy plus are good props. Chine walking isn't always the props fault, it can sometimes be cause by an unbalanced hull. Take a look at how you have things stored, and try to balance it out. Your other option would be going to a 4 blade. They've got considerably more grip and that should help get you out of the hole a bit quicker as well. You'll lose just a hair on upper end speed, but going a few miles an hour and doing it safely is much more important than that little bit of extra speed.
  10. Is the 4500 RMP at WOT? If not, until you can see your rpms at WOT then you can't say for sure if it's a prop issue or the motor. What prop are you running would be helpful too. You've got too big of a prop on there. Roughly you gain or lose 500 rpms per pitch you move (move up your rpms go down, move down and your rpms go up) . I'd try a 23 pitch. Go to a dealer and try before you go out and buy just for the heck of it. Different companies and different prop lines will run slightly different from one another so shop around.
  11. You can throw anything you want as a trailer for the buzzbait without it affecting the action too much. You might want to even throw one of those flukes on the back. The storm swimbaits can be good at times. Certain models don't have very good action though. Also, 3rd-ing what was said about the flukes.
  12. Give up now...summer is never coming lol
  13. Pick colors you have confidence in, and some that match the baitfish in that area.
  14. I heard the G man will try to lose his followers before making his way to the bank haha.
  15. Was and still is my favorite, Jimmy Houston! Bill Dance, Hank Parker, Roland Martin, and Bassmaster also rated pretty high with me.
  16. There is no interest charged, only a $1 processing fee for every payment after the initial payment. (so $5 in total) No it doesn't have to be a credit card. A debit card that's branded as a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card will work as well.
  17. I'd have to say probably Green Bay still technically Lake Michigan
  18. Nice work man!
  19. To fish or not to fish.... is that even a question?
  20. Better luck next time! Everyone has to hop aboard the suck truck every now and again. At least you weren't the only passenger. That sounds like pretty tough conditions too.
  21. Glad to hear it worked for you!
  22. Ouch, that's rough! Sounds like you covered a lot of water. I can only speculate given that I've never been there before, but from looking at the navionics web app I would have picked a few of the smaller arms of the reservoir and fished from the point of the main river channel all the way to the back targeting anywhere from the bank out to about the first break line. If that worked, you could run that pattern on multiple branches. If that would have failed I probably would have tried the longer arms (looks like there's about four of them) just to see if there was anything going on in there.
  23. I have no problem fishing until it ices up. If you're fishing from the bank it might be slow, but I'd still go. If you can find a bank to fish from with deeper water near by that'd be a great place to start.
  24. My advice would be to keep your high end stuff especially for techniques that require the higher sensitivity. From there you can add on some lower budget ones to fill the holes especially in actions you'll use for power fishing if you feel you really need more.
