  1. The helios tcs comes in 8:1 ratio also.
  2. I have the jerk/crank. Only been out with it once and didnt throw it much. It is quite a bit slower action than my worm/jig (7' hvy/mf), but seems like it has decent power.
  3. I like that black/gold. Saints fan!
  4. I have the okuma tcs. One of my favorite rods. Fished 3/4 oz jig in grass mats, and has a soft enough tip i can pitch 3/8 oz t-rig. I don't have experience with the other rods you have listed.
  5. Good luck and tight lines to the ones attending. I would of liked to make it up to the lake for the weekend, but i had prior commitments for the elite series on the sabine. Hope we hear stories of big fish in the boat!
  6. It looks somewhat better in the youtube video, than in the pictures posted. I'll reserve judgement till I can see the rod in person.
  7. Penalized for holding fish up against his body. I believe that was his lure falling to the floor.
  8. Another vote for Christmas Vacation.

  15. X 2. I ordered a rod from a manufacturer and waited almost 3 weeks for it. I ordered a rod and reel from Ron on a Monday and it was waiting for me when I got off of work that Friday.

  17. Will do! Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
  18. I have been lurking on the site for about two years now. I found the site when I took up bass fishing with a buddy from work. He is a accomplished local tournament fisherman and has taught me a lot, but I also know that there is more than one way to do things. That's where this site and all the great people come in. I just wanted to say thanks to you all for sharing as much as you do. I know it has helped me come a long way in my fishing abilities. Thanks again Nick
