Buckeye and Alum Creek are both great fisheries. Burr Oak near Glouster, OH is arguably one of the best lakes in the southeastern area. Especially in the spring and fall! Also if you are from central Ohio area try Griggs Reservoir and/or O'Shanassey Reservoir both have a great population of large and small mouth bass.
I agree with this post. I have a Tournament MG, but I also own 12 Lews Pro Speed Spool and 1 Tournament Pro Speed Spool. I love every single reel by Lews. Very smooth, light weight and the braking systems are excellent. You will not be disappointed.
I have 1 tournament pro speed spool and 9 BBI pro speed spools and the braking systems are phenomenal. Very pleased. Palms well, casts a mile, super light. Cannot go wrong. Spend the extra money!
Be careful if you use a swivel…..many anglers I know who use this set up end up nocking the ceramics out of their top guide. I would suggest tying the double uni to tie braid to fluorocarbon leader.
