  1. Yes sir... Lived in Florida 10 years and they work very well there... But so did floating , large rapalas The devils horse is a awesome bait!
  2. While pitching a 5" senko into the wind... With serious gust to 25 mph I was still getting 60' Curado I is so far a amazing reel..initial setting 2 brakes on... Adjustment dial at 1 ... 3 maybe 4 loose coils... Bumped adjustment dial from 1 to 3 no more loose coils... It's a long distance caster too.... 3/4 oz on heavy 7'6" loomis I was able to get 200 feet over and over and over. It's casting ability competes head to head with my CTE200GT... So far.. I really love this reel. Center clutch is super nice... You get a lot of reel at 179.99 No bb flush either... I won't even bother till warranty expires. I will be looking for a lefty before long!
  3. Xr100 & Xr75 & Xrk100 Colors... Blue shiner , chrome black , gold black Foxy lady , Tilapia ,royal red Also use rapala clackin raps various sizes and colors
  4. I hear ya hootiebenji Those rods are special! Let us know how much you love them!!
  5. Curado I ....it's really awesome so far CuradoD or E or chronarch E that said if you are On a tight budget then aG I guess it's solid most Users say so... I don't like it or own one but it may work out for you.
  6. I really didn't read a review of the Tatula... But rather a statement... It just seems to me plain and simple... He likes the 300e over the Tat... The end! Next........

  9. Geez.... Beetle spin.... Haven't used one since 79 Yea.... I need to revisit that bait for fun sakes! Thanks for the reminder... Used to kill em on that bait in creeks and ponds
  10. I do have colored tungston... And polished... I buy whatever I need at the best price I do believe color matters... Just not on flippin weights
  11. Exactly right!.... Enuff said.... Next..
  12. Well since you ask.... I think if it's in very good cond..? Yes ..not so good... Maybe pass Rod is 6 years...old .. As far as length I have seen Many many times where that 6'6" to 6'9" range was/ is exactly what I needed Good luck! Hope you enjoy ur loomis!
  13. That's a cool pic... Speedbead! Gotta love that!
  14. Crawdaddys!! Rusty and Red swamp
  15. Yo-Zuri Hybrd 20# then cxx-strong 20 or 25 While I simply don't rely on florocarbon lines seaguar makes a good one.. Tryed red label didn't care for it. However, it's ok in soft cover situations
  16. Yes that is quite a fish.... Maybe a rainbow colored senko?
  17. Snookalot....0119 you are right... Mitch.... You are right Fishing for small fish as in LMB,as in money on the line, getting the bass in quickly, is very important . I learned very long ago to pump and reel down.... I then learned how to water ski a bigmouth in.. I only fish for joy and I apply my way of doing it when I need or want to. Big fish ? It's just my instinct to pump and reel.. Smaller species is most often quickly cranked in for me. I just don't see a point in pump and reel on a 2 pound largemouth... But I choose how I fight the fish !
  18. SuperFluke....in Wat. Pro. Blue or Midnite Chartruse...
  19. I have and use tungston from 1/16 to 1 1/2 oz Use the lightest you can... Stay within you're rods rating.... Unless you know better! Plan on a heavier action rod for heavier bullets / jigs 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 will work real well for you right now Catch fish!
  20. Lizards.... Hate em... Serious I would rather throw rocks at bass then a lizard! A-rig.... That's just stupid... That's all!!
  21. I used my HG yesterday and it's special.... I like it better than E series... I really liked E and D really well though! I really want a hawgtech handle for it Geez... I am so broke...! This shimano cast farther and with less effort as well as pitching supremely ! Drag super smooth & stout What a great reel at a great price!
  22. Sure if its only the wiggle wart , but op states it is also strike king baits running wacky...that's kinda odd... Throw in 2 new crankbait rods and you can see where I was going... Nice catch! .. On the wart...
  23. Good pics guys! However... The bass in my state have a purple belly with emerald flake/ 194j w red and blue flake! Just playin!!
  24. Gor-tex is good I have a browning mossy oak shadow grass parka and pants... It's awesome stuff.. It was very pricey! But it's been used every year for 15 years . It's still like new!
