Alright so I got no replies on here, so I am guessing no one owns one. I finally got the cam with the accessories I bought. I am extremely happy with my purchase! I mounted it on the dash of my car for a test and made 2 vids. One in 1080p 30fps and one in 720p 60fps. Both looked spectacular, the quality on the 1080 was better while stopped or moving at less than 40 miles per hour. Once I hit 60-65 you could see some pixelation and the wideness of the cam is 105 degrees which reduces fisheye from the pic. At 720 I was doing 65 and the video was excellent, the fisheye was more pronounced as the wideness increases to something like 130 degrees but it isn't bad at all. The colors are vibrant, very realistic, I've noticed on the GoPro cams there is a yellowish hue to the videos, that was not the case with my tests with the Monoprice Sports WiFi Action Cam. It has wi-fi and a watch remote control to start and stop video and to take pictures. I plan on taking it out today and using it around a lake for fishing which was the reason I bought it. Hopefully I will hook up with some fish. So my initial review of the product is a 5/5 star for sure. It also turns out that the cam was 179 when I bought it about a week ago, and the day before it arrived it went on sale for 159. I went on the site opened a live chat with customer support and asked if there was any way to get a refund of the difference since I hadn't even gotten the cam yet. With no trouble or having to battle for it, the rep said we are giving you a 16 dollar credit to your monoprice account which you can use on this site for anything you would like. It will take 2 days to show up but you will immediately see the 16 dollars processing on your transaction section. That was indeed the case. So in the end I spent 192 dollars with the couple of accessories I bought. 192 vs almost 300 for a comparable gopro. We will see how long it lasts but initially I would say give me the Monoprice over the GoPro!

Yeah Plum that seems to be the case with most of my soft plastics...I just keep buying more cause I have to have different colors and styles. I just expanded my arsenal with 3 packs of Big Bite Baits Needle Worm 5pk on sale for 1.48 to use with the shaky head jigs I bought a week ago. Craw Orange Swirl, Grape, and Junebug colors. I also bought JJ's Magic Dippin' Dye in Chartreuse cause you can never go wrong with Chartreuse. I would like to end this by saying that I am not an addict... ... ... ...ok maybe a little.

Yea I sent him a pm with a ton of sites that I buy my stuff from. One is tackle warehouse. I hear you he doesnt need to get Gary Yamamoto Senko's. There are other stick baits out there. I use Yum Dingers, and I've used a few other brands too that are cheaper. Heck he can even go to Bass Pro and buy the box of assorted colors for stick baits. The bass pro brand tournament series.

Well Senkos can become costly like SirSnookalot said. They are great, but they do tend to fall apart rather fast and at 8 bucks a bag he is going to be going to Bass Pro a heck of a lot. I would have to agree with SirSnook. Its best if he sticks to things that don't need to be replenished often.

Howdy everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Gary Yamamoto Fat Ika tube baits and in what colors?

I throw a super fluke in baby bass color in the park by me. If I use them in a specific area of the lake with lilipads I can catch a bunch of smaller bass. I will go and do that if I am getting skunked. LOL. Other than that, I haven't had much success with them.

I sent you a PM Penguino. Hope it helps. I try to fish on a budget as well, I'm what some people would call cheap, or frugal. I don't believe in paying 15 dollars for a lure, and I sure don't believe in paying 8 for a bag of plastics.

Well the best way to paint a blank is with air brush, I don't know how to do all that. BUT I do paint my blanks. I have several techniques and yes they catch bass. 1 method is with Nail Polish. These are the more simple ones. If I want 1 or two colors, add some shine, glitter and bam you have a lure. 2nd method is with Acrylic Paint. Yes several paint brushes ranging from thick tips to thin ones. You can get as detailed as you want but it is a ton of work you need to wait for each layer to dry before moving on to the next. I start with a white base then start adding layers, darker and darker. For example on that little fella you have a light colored belly, a dark middle and a less dark top. So you paint the entire lure with the lighter color. Sometimes it takes 2 layers to get rid of the white. You then paint the top half the darker color, then the middle with the darkest color. Once you are done with that you can add some glitter, then coat it with 2 coats finger nail enamel Fast Dry(Clear) and then a nail hardner, also clear. If you apply the nail polish and hardner right the acrylic won't come off.

Guess I got lucky last year around this time. I went down to Flamingo Everglades and fished for snook there. They weren't in season so it was catch and release. I was actually hoping for Sea Trout. I caught both on a top water popper jr which I bought unpainted. I did nothing but add glitter to it and several coats of clear nail polish and sealant. The water was a bit rough and it was shallow. The snook weren't to big, I think I have a picture of one in my gallery somewhere. I did finally hook up with a Sea Trout late in the day in a different area. Anyways, I got sidetracked. Up in the West Palm Beach area is John Prince Park which has Lake Osborne. I know lots of Bass Clubs have tourneys there. I have fished it two times and caught a nice 3 pound bass. I missed a ton of bites though (Early days of Bass Fishing). It has plenty of bank fishing area, but I hear its far better on boat.

Oh gosh, a short list? I use my entire tackle bag sadly, and I just keep adding to it. I just got me some Shaky Jigs and Worms. If I had to choose between everything I have? Hey lund that is an excellent idea. I never really thought of it as paying for results just because I wouldnt pay for results. If i had a crappy day on the water i would still offer cash to defer cost. But i see your point as to where the boater might see it that way. Great advice if i ever go along with someone on their boat ill do that. Thanks

Bought a Berkley worm binder a couple weeks ago and I love it. I just put the bags inside the binder zip locks. Sometimes the original bag is to big and I cut off the top, only because I like to keep the label around and not have to guess the color or size of a worm. I wouldn't put my worms in a plano. The ones I have usually go dry or melt a bit and get all sticky. Just not worth it. Also *** is awesome. lol. I really would love to find a website with free shipping without a minimum order. I also wouldn't mind finding a cheaper option for my stick baits than Gary Yamamoto's. I have tried some of the cheaper stuff and just haven't gotten the same results

Hey guys, I bought a MHD Sport Wi-Fi Action Camera and wanted to find out if anyone else has one. I know GoPro is the most popular and well known action cam. After tons of research I realized that I don't NEED the highest end cam in the world, and the Monoprice seems to have great quality picture. Spending 199 on just the GoPro wasn't to bad, then you throw in all the accessories and it starts getting pricey. So I spent a total of 208 on the Monoprice cam and most of the accessories I will need right now including a backup battery. If anyone has one, or has any experience with them and can offer up any advice on settings that would help me get a good picture for my bass fishing, it would be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to play with it, and get some bass on video! No more fumbling around with my phone to take pics of the fish!!! I am also curious if I can use the GoPro Studio software to edit my MHD vids? If no one has an answer to that, which I would suspect will be the case, I guess I will find out in a few days when I get it.

Seems this is a pretty hot topic and I guess I would like to throw in my two cents. I started bass fishing about a year ago and have yet to step foot on a boat to do so. But as a potential non-boater I wouldn't even think of going out on someones boat without offering some cash at the end of the trip to help defer cost along with making sure I bring my own water, and lunch, in fact I would probably offer to bring the boater lunch. Sure the boater did buy his own boat, and yes he should be able to pay for it, and should not expect payment as if he was a guide. But etiquette is etiquette no matter how you slice it. If I go to a party I will always bring at least a bottle of wine, that includes family events. I think it would be rude for me to show up empty handed, just as it would be rude of me to fish on someone elses boat without offering something at the end. I wouldn't be mad if they accepted it, or declined it. At that point I have done what I think is right, I am no longer a freeloader in my mind, or the boaters mind. No one likes a freeloader.

Wow glad I came upon this. I picked up a chatterbait for the first time this weekend at basspro. I will keep all this info in mind when I go out and use it.

I've only been kicked out once. It was up in Boca and this pond is in front of the community. My friend and I were catching a bass on almost every cast, we only lasted 10 minutes there. An old fart (I call him that cause he doesn't deserve being called an elderly gentlemen) drove by and saw us, came out of his car and started yelling at us using foul language and threatened us with calling the cops if we weren't packed up and gone within 5 minutes. He called the community security guard over who was nice enough and had seen us fishing but didn't care. But now he had no choice but to tell the guy, hey sorry I didn't see them from the security guard house, otherwise he probably would have got in trouble.He stood there and watched us pack up till we left. The crappy part was I had a major wind knot on my bait caster and was trying to get that sorted out when he showed up lol. I had to walk out of there with a bunch of line in one hand , my rods in the other.

Hey South FLA, I didn't see you. I think you were in a different area. You were deeper into the Holey Land than I was. I only got a chance to fish the big lake. I didn't get as far as the Miami Canal. The only truck I saw was a white pickup and it probably belonged to the guys fishing the lake on a jon boat. But I'm glad you had some luck out there. Maybe next time I will try and fish the Miami Canal if the bank is maintained well like the big lake was.

I actually fished the big lake and the canal that connects to it. The grass was nice and low, no gators, but no fish. I saw a couple bowfins ( i think). Saw some Gar, and small bass. I got the hit on a Yum Dinger on the second cast after I had tried top water and a crank. So instinctively I stuck with the Dinger for maybe another 30 minutes and got nothing. The water was pretty clear and there were a few spots that had small fish, other areas were completely desolate even between the pads. The bigger fish must have been held up in deeper water. I tried faster retrieval and slow retrieval to the point of barely moving.
