  1. I like Sufix 832. No issues, but I never used anything rated higher that 65 pound.
  2. Great maiden voyage. Congrats.
  3. Great story about a great catch - thanks for sharing. Congrats!

  5. Strike King Red Eye Shad in Sexy Shad.
  6. Ha - loved the video. Guess we'll be seeing that Zebco on the Fishing Flea Market Forum soon...

  9. Congrats on a nice fish.
  10. I was kidding. I'm well aware of vests - I wore one for 30 years. Stay safe out there.
  11. You should have been wearing your body armor... Glad to hear you are okay.

  13. We had lightning strike a basketball backboard pole which was 50 feet behind our house. It then travelled underground and blew a 5 inch hole through my cinderblock basement wall. Scary stuff...

Yup - William Joseph Grippy Hemocuts ($15 @ Amazon)
  17. Sweet - nice fish. Congrats.
  18. I agree with the ultralight & inline spinners - should get most of the fishes attention.
  19. Congrats on some great looking fish.
  20. Lots of discussion on BR about braid. I use Sufix 832 based on great reviews here. Again, it's a very subjective topic.
  21. Welcome to BR. Enjoy the great folks & information.
  22. RIP
  23. Ditto on the Pflueger President recommendation. And I agree with DVT - pick up a used rod to pair it with. Check with some of your buddies... there's usually somebody who has an extra rod collecting dust. It might help to list your hometown in your BR bio.
  24. Glad to hear your incident had a good ending. Thanks for sharing that, so we can all learn from it.
