  1. Thanks, this is really helpful
  2. medium-fast rods will usually provide a little more casting distance and still provide adequate hooksetting power. These actions are often used for applications that involve treble hooks, such as crankbaits and topwater lures or other reaction baits such as spinnerbaits I guess not soft plastics
  3. Fenwick is fast. Rod has medium power and Medium fast tip action 1/4- 1 oz lure weight and 8-20 pound line weight and it is a casting rod that was last made in 2012. Looks like soft plastics to me.
  4. Thanks and duh me, I just have the revelation to email Fenwick about it as well. Sometimes I do too much search for my own good
  5. Thanks, I did check on google, really only the new stuff, this is not new. Your advice is probably best. Thank You
  6. Just picked this up used. Im going to use it for soft plastics I think but I don't know exactly what the action is, I'm assuming its Medium with action Moderate/Fast but don't know for sure. Its specified for 8-20lb mono and 1/4-1oz weight. Is this more of a crankbait rod? Either way its fine, just starting to build up my arsenal. Thanks, Scott
  7. I picked it up last week. Cant hurt to go check it out
  8. I ran into the same thing at my Dicks. I went in and saw a Quantum PT Energy Burner marked down from 189 to 99. I bought it, brought it to the register and it rang up for 70 something, I dont remember but on top of that there was another 25% off. Got the reel in total with tax for 62.00
