I would go to Mondo's. I had been meaning to makes this post sooner....The evening we all met at Johny's I was being robbed back home. That evening I had somewhere around $2000 worth of fishing equipment stolen and my boat motor tampered with. Luckily the boat was parked out at my fathers house and everything was caught on video. Thank to the good men of the Franklin county sheriffs department they arrested the suspect in the video, a step nephew of mine. Most of the items have been returned. He still sits in jail now (for over a week now) on felony charges. Thanks I just needed to vent.

I think we should meet for dinner some where. Maybe Olathe, have another meet and greet.

Spoke to my neighbor today who is one of the old man guards out at coffee county lake. He said last week M-S over 3000 fish caught. A crap ton of small mouths. Said everyone is really tearing up the small mouths and hopefully later this week they'll start letting water in and that will help even more. Hope everyone a fun and safe trip to Grand

How many diferenent states (or countries) have you had the opportunity to bass fish? Kansas Missouri Nebraska Oklahoma Colorado Arizona California Tennessee Texas Florida West Virginia Maryland Minnesota Iowa Wisconsin That's 15 different states I've been fortunate to have fished so far. I would love to fish all 50. A trip to South America would be also be great.

We also took my neighbors dog. He was good for warning us about gators on shore in our area while we where fishing. Again we would leave.

I was stationed in Orlando when I was a young man. My neighbor an I would shore fish a lot of the ponds in our area. As we would walk around we constantly watched out for fresh gator poop on the trails around the water.Warm gator poop and we would get the hell out of there as quietly as possible. Everything was so over grown you never knew where the gator might be. Yea it was scary at times.

Bryant's is a fantastic place to shop. Great staff and selection. I always stop at Everharts in Clinton, not even close to Osage but I have to drive right past it. The monkey makes me stop.

Mike2148, she is a beautiful dummy. She looks a lot like my very first dog 40 yrs ago.

Do you take your dog out on the boat with you, and what kind is he/she. My last dog an American Bulldog loved being on the boat. This will be my second season to fish with out him and it will suck again.

I won't be making it to Shawnee either. But for what is worth last year we had our best luck off the big radius shore line off of golf course. Located at the south east side off the lake. You can follow the shore into a good sized cove but always had better luck out towards the bigger water casting towards that shore area. Also had the best luck with the small yellow rooster tails. Hope this can help some of ya. If you look at a map it's easy to see where I'm describing. Good luck and have fun.

I'm gonna be out in Alpine Ca on the 22 & 23 of March. Was wondering if it would be worth it to pack some gear for a day of shore fishing there. I've read some great fishing reports saying the LMB fishing is hot right now. I'm just not sure how accessible the shore fishing is there? Any feedback would be great.
