  1. My friend just bought a Triumph boat and wants to go to lake norman in north carolina and go striper fishin. i have been a few times, but i have had a guide each time. i was wondering if ya'll knew the best time they bite, what they are hittin in the fall, if the fall is even a good time, the whole nine yards. i want the best trip we can have and catch as many fish as we can. so if any one knows and information on reeling in a lot of stripper in the fall, let me know. Thanks!
  2. stacey king is a joke to whoever said him. i personally like kevin van dam. he is on his was to becoming the greatest professional fisherman of all time.
  3. well, the thing is, i was fishing a pond i have never fished before, and i was in a jon boat with a trolling motor. and crankbait was out of the question because the botom of the pond had tall grass, so if you were to throw a crank, it would get caught in the cover underneath.
  4. on a tough day fishin, when you arent gettin many bites, and the sun is heating down on you, what do you do. this happened to me today. i went out and after 2 hours i was sweatin, i had used nearly every lure i had in my box that was worth anything, and about 10 different soft plastics, and i had 2 bites to show for it. what am i supposed to do at this point? throw in the towel, or try something else?
  5. ok, thanks for the great advice. i've grew a love for bass fishin in the past year and a half, and i love to fish, but i dont know a lot of tips and facts, and you guys are great. i will probably head out with a pop-r and a zara spook in the morning. thanks again.
  6. what are the best lures to use in the morning and good techniques. im headin out in the morning and i want to land some fish, what should my gameplan be?
  7. i got hooked on fishin last year, and my best is only 4 pounds 3 oz. im hoping to get in that 5 pound club. ;D
  8. my partner reeled in a 6 pound 9 ounce bass today from a farm pond, and there are bigger ones in there. farm ponds can usually be the best.
