  1. never got a great great deal but ive got some scatter-raps for 3bux and some havocs for a dollar, Walmart is my soft plastic store there rods are usually cracked from kids messing with them...
  2. Bottom Hopper in the dark red with red flakes,,, I have the craws for jig trailers but the bottom hopper catches the most first cast bass.
  3. Floating Rapala, bout 19years old,,,
  4. Rocks and Hard Timber fray it up pretty good,,, just check the line before tieing on anything heavy lol,,, or you'll see ya lure fly out (wow) great cast hold on a sec lol... it's great where theres nothing to chew it up.. i still use mono over braid..
  5. Yeah gulp seem to be worm cut sponges lol... Ive made them soft again with just warm/hot water bath too ... Weird how they are the only ones.that come with liquid in the bag that dry out so bad some people think they are trash.
  6. Im thinking all ya need is a Rod and Reel that will cast far, strong as hell, and lets ya know when you got a fish messing with the bait..... Now all that is a crazy time finding it... because its perfect. but the price tags of these rod and reels today. You can find the best but is it all worth it?.... "healthy addiction" this fishing is. I miss the days when I could take a zebco and a powerbait and catch bass after bass without even wanting more and better rods and reels.
  7. Yep just saw that he can get the revo s 3, wonder how it popped up as new
  8. Pflueger president 6935 60bux spinning, revo s 130, theres too many rods out there... St croix look to be a great brand.
  9. Never thought bout putting them in a pot of boiling water. Only one Ive seen dry out is the gulp. Without the juice they are twigs.
  10. not me but my brother when he was 17.. crankbait to the chin lol,,, had to drive himself to the ER cuz my pops refused to take him lol. 4inch crankbait hanggin from the chin, we still kid him on that one.
  11. Ponds are great, I always try entire box, but mostly during morning pre dawn, dawn, poppers and topwater. I miss having a pond in my backyard loaded with 5pounders them were the days
  12. Heddon baby torpedo, shallow running rapalas, heavy RatLtraps, and the famous purple powerbait. Buzzbaits and spinnerbaits never worked best for me....
  13. A day in fish oil is my cure then I keep em in a jar not the bags. "seen so many people just throw them away"
  14. Snubnose ruger alaskan, one Mean powerhouse.
